Answer One: There are many criteria. Worlds in peril may call for void assistance. We still have access to that function, some worlds are monitored and help is requested remotely. Missions are chosen by proximity, skills needed and level of acceptable risk. Catastrophe missions are always accepted.

Answer Two: This is unknown. Current Hypothesis: The nature of the void itself allows those passengers with the ability to do so to catch glimpses of possible futures.

Answer Three: THEY ARE DESTROYERS. THEY MUST BE STOPPED.

If someone was taken from their world to another world, then from that world to the train platform, if they leave the train, do they go back to the world they were brought here from or to their original home world?

Every possible precaution is being taken. The void sees many travellers from many worlds. The rules of your own world do not necessarily match those of the worlds you now travel to. Your presence on the worlds you travel to does not do them harm.

Does the VoidTrain travel between points in what would be considered time and space both? So far at least one bit of information implies that your existing mission is with the intent to prevent something that already happened...I can't be sure that I heard it right though, it was a rather hectic meeting...
