She nodded, hesitated then looked down at her wrist, where her SCA wasn't. "Is it okay if I wait for your answer with you?"

"Yeah, sure." Eva notices that, but now's not the time to bring it up. Later she can.

"Thanks," she said softly.

It is the link between you, your voidcraft and your life in your world. The exact nature depends on your understanding of the world and the void but many believe it to be spiritual, magical in nature whilst others see it as an exchange of energy that keeps the balance of worlds and the void in balance, holding back the chaos and allowing life forms to travel through in specially designed craft.

One last question. She needs to get as much information as she can, but given she doesn't know how long this'll last or who has/hasn't asked Questions... Myths. There is a lot she can ask, but at the same time...]

"Um... before I do, any chance you can explain what in the world that meant?" [she asked Eva, confused.]

Yeah, she's not going to sugar coat this one. Not at all. "It basically means if you don't wear your SCA on missions and you die, you can't be revived."

"How in the world did you get that from all that gobbledegook about balance and spirts and stuff?"

[Wait...]

"Revived?"

"I'll explain later." Eva promises. "I don't know how long we have or who's asked questions and who hasn't, so..."

[She hesitated. It kind of felt like she should know all that before she decided what to ask. She chewed on her finger a bit, then took a breath and faced the device. She had so much she needed to know, boiling it down to three was going to be hard.]

[But she knew what she probably needed to ask first. Her cards not only helped her on missions, but some of them were friends. All of them were entrusted to her. She had to get them back. For their sake, and for the sake of the worlds they help, as well as her own.]

"How, exactly, are points earned. I mean, what do we have to do to earn the most points each station so we can bring back lots of our friends and get the supplies that we need?"

Points are earned through the effort of the passengers of the Voidtrecker Express. Cooperation with your fellow Voidtreckers will earn rewards. Working to keep the Voidcraft clean and tidy will bring reward as well.

"How many more chores can I even do?" [she asked Goligan who shrugged his whiskers.]

[She considered her next question for a long moment before taking a deep breath.]

How do I keep my SCA on so people stop getting mad at me, but still be able to choose not to be emergency evacuated if I don't want to be?"

[She knew people were upset at her over that. She wasn't stupid. But she refused to not try to help as best she could. It wasn't in her to be relived that she was alive when others weren’t.]

That scenario is impossible.

[She puffed out her cheeks, sulking.]

"Lady Najaran?" her cane asked.

"They'll have to understand then." [Because there was no way she was putting it back on now.]

Ask your third if you want, then I'll ask mine, and then we're going talk, ok, Najaran-san?

[Never mind Eva trails off intovertiable litany of some extremely creative sailor cussing going on there.]

I've seen people leave and come back without memories of the Train, yet time has passed for them back on their worlds with no ill effect or mentions of people noticing they'd been missing.

[She bites her lip. How to word this...She's aware that time can't be truly stopped -even if it seems like it can be-, but it is thoroughly possible to manipulate it -like what full-grown dialga and full-grown celebi can and do do.

No pressure. Sure...] Does this mean that if time isn't 'slowed' -for lack of better words right now- back home, that people notice us very suddenly missing?

Yes. You are missing from your worlds right now.

[Then she knew her third question. She had been pretty sure that it was the case. She didn't understand why people seemed so sure that she'd go back to the moment she left. Spells didn't work that way, Culdra didn't write creation that way. But since it was now confirmed, she considered her words carefully, and was about to ask, then stopped herself.]

"I am asking Goligan and Eva something, not you yet," [she told the machine, then turned to face Eva.]

"We go to so many worlds that need help, and it sounds like my world isn't the only one in trouble from everyone here. I want to ask how to get the train to go to our worlds too, so we aren't leaving them short a person or whatever, against the dangers we were facing before we got here. But I don't know how to ask it so I don't waste my last question. How should I say it?"

[That is so not the answer she wants. Damnit. She should have worded it better, but-]

That's a very good question, yet I don't know if we can go to our worlds, or if we can, they'd be the ones we specifically came from, or if the problems faced would even require us.

[A sigh.] Ask it if you want. Admittedly though I'm more curious if, given many of us seem to have been pulled out of the middle of important things, if the people around at the time notice us not being there any more.

[She considered, then looked to Goligan.] "You didn't come with me when I first arrived. Did you notice me being gone?"

"No, lady Najaran. One moment I was with you and then I was in that darkness where you found me."

[She looked to Eva.] "Luggage car. Somehow Gremlin spent my points, and then Goligan was waiting for me at the next stop..." [she fingered the stud earrings she was wearing. They had been a gift fro Glorfindel that day.]

That's- That's more proof time isn't passing back home.

[Or extremely slowed, otherwise - no. Deal with it later.

Think, Eva. Think. Wait-] I know. I don't now how useful this'll be but - can you ask it to tell us everything it knows about the Void Ministry?

If we're on a Rogue Train, then we need to know.

[She considered that.]

"I think that I know how to ask both..." [Maybe.]

"Lady Najaran? Do you want to run it by us?"

[She considered, then nodded.]

"What about if I ask 'What is everything you know about the Void Ministry and how we can have a say into what worlds we go to if we know of ones in danger?"

[Which would give her a way to also try and get them back to that world they abandoned to help whoever or whatever was left....]

[Eva nods with a grin.]

Sounds good and hopefully it'll net us some infomation.
