Yugi couldn't help but feel a tiny bit of relief from the answer. he had honestly been nervous until that point because he had told another person about this being something they were trying to do. At least now he could also give that person a bit of hope to.

But before Yugi had a change to even ponder if he should ask anymore questions he had been pulled in for a kiss. He welcomed the kiss happily.

"I am going to take a guess you were listening, huh?"

"Mm," he agrees, squeezing Yugi tightly for as long as he dares. He can't indulge like he wants to, not with time running short, but...he definitely wants to.

"We'll find each other again. I promise. I'll punch through the void myself if I have to."

"Well with the question at least we knows it's possible which is honestly what I needed to know." And that was at least enough for him. It just meant the next step was to hope that they figure out how.

For the time being, he leans on him happily and at least content with that one question.
