Is there a legitimate reason I can't buy back any of my main pokemon team when they'd be kept primarily within their monsterballs while on the train? It would make the missions far easier if I had access to them at the very least.

Yes. This voidcraft does not yet have capacity for large creatures.

We remain alive as long as you're alive and wearing the SCAs on mission helps with that I assume. So, what can you tell us about the nature -not the function- of the tethering?

"Um...." Najaran turned to Eva, having heard her first question and seeing the answer. "How... large are your Pokemon?" Because... that answer didn't make sense to her...

But then she heard second question and froze.

Eva glances over with a blink. "Can't get anything larger than Princess. He's the largest it looks like. But it's fine; that answer implies we will eventually have the space."

It's Not Fine, but she has an answer so it must be Fine.

"That...that wasn't what I meant. The ones you want that it says are too big... are any of them larger than Knight? Or Gargoyle?" Okay, Knight maybe, but unless these creatures she asked about were like the Dark Lord or the Lord of Flies, she doubted they were larger than some of her cards... Knight she could just barely summon in the train, but Thunderbeak, Gargoyle, and Wall of Stone she couldn't summon at all. Except on missions.

"Smaller than them, mostly, but those creatures come from your cards, don't they, which came with you?"

She nodded. "I get more cards when I have points," she added. "Well... and Goligan." She nodded to her cane. He waved his mustache like a hand.

She reached her free hand behind her and several cards flew into her hand, She held them up to show Eva, though she wouldn't hand them over.

"Then I don't think they really count as 'large creatures' -however that's even defined- given you're able to buy them in the shop."

"But... they're alive... Isn't that all it takes to be a creature?"

"True, but I don't know how the train is defining what a creature is and isn't."

There's a shrug at the end of it.

She nodded, hesitated then looked down at her wrist, where her SCA wasn't. "Is it okay if I wait for your answer with you?"

"Yeah, sure." Eva notices that, but now's not the time to bring it up. Later she can.

"Thanks," she said softly.

It is the link between you, your voidcraft and your life in your world. Yeah, she's not going to sugar coat this one. Not at all. "It basically means if you don't wear your SCA on missions and you die, you can't be revived."

"How in the world did you get that from all that gobbledegook about balance and spirts and stuff?"

[Wait...]

"I'll explain later." Eva promises. "I don't know how long we have or who's asked questions and who hasn't, so..."

[She hesitated. It kind of felt like she should know all that before she decided what to ask. She chewed on her finger a bit, then took a breath and faced the device. She had so much she needed to know, boiling it down to three was going to be hard.]

[But she knew what she probably needed to ask first. Her cards not only helped her on missions, but some of them were friends. All of them were entrusted to her. She had to get them back. For their sake, and for the sake of the worlds they help, as well as her own.]

"How, exactly, are points earned. I mean, what do we have to do to earn the most points each station so we can bring back lots of our friends and get the supplies that we need?"

Points are earned through the effort of the passengers of the Voidtrecker Express. Cooperation with your fellow Voidtreckers will earn rewards. Working to keep the Voidcraft clean and tidy will bring reward as well.

"How many more chores can I even do?" [she asked Goligan who shrugged his whiskers.]

[She considered her next question for a long moment before taking a deep breath.]

How do I keep my SCA on so people stop getting mad at me, but still be able to choose not to be emergency evacuated if I don't want to be?"

[She knew people were upset at her over that. She wasn't stupid. But she refused to not try to help as best she could. It wasn't in her to be relived that she was alive when others weren’t.]

That scenario is impossible.

[She puffed out her cheeks, sulking.]

"Lady Najaran?" her cane asked.

"They'll have to understand then." [Because there was no way she was putting it back on now.]
