Hey, so, mission time soon. [ Tidus wears a flippant smile at that. Fun, huh? ]

Just wanted everyone to know if you need something to put your food in or drink bottle, there's spare lunchboxes and bottles going in the supplies me, Lightning, and Roland keep track over. We also got some food ready: a lot of it's bear-- real bear, not that other stuff we got last month-- but there's other meat and non-meat too. Plus, if you wanna come and help make more with some of the food we got this month, we can work on that. Make sure everyone's covered. Doesn't matter what team you are!

Speaking of, if any of the teams need any for their groups or food...masters or whatever, you take some too, alright? [ He grins and nods. ] Oh yeah- and you can talk to one of us if you need a weapon, like a sword or dagger, or just a pole to whack with. We have a couple to borrow out, but we'll want them back at the end.

Well, we'll want everything back, but you know. We don't have many, so it's best to see what the missions are first.

[ They don't have enough to lend out willy nilly. ]

Guess this is a good time to say too, [ since he's here already!, ] if you think you can make anything for supplies, like weapons or- whatever magic you have, let us know! Anyone who can help with food, healing, weapons or protection... it's all useful.

And if anyone's thinking about going hunting or collecting materials once we find out more, we have some Arms Bands that'll help for packing away. [ He raises a wrist, showing the one he's wearing now. ] We can show people how to use 'em. Then you won't be carrying anything on your back!

[ He pauses, thinking. Well.. ] That's about it... - oh!

[ His head was about to duck, but then he raises it again, looking into the camera! ]

If you wanna hop around with magic and help out on different teams when they need the extra hands, ask Spider 'bout joining Black Squad! She's cool, and she can send people wherever they're needed! And the more people helping, the easier it is she can move people around!

Just two longswords, nothin' fancier than that. The last planet I got them from had a weapon shortage going on too.

[ There's a small sigh. Trying not to sound irritated: ]

I'd really prefer a sabre, but apparently whatever I'd done to assist with chores during the last two weeks hadn't warranted much reward in payment.

Just one-handed, simple blade -- nothin' over the top. Gets smaller at the end, so it's easy to move around. I can show you if you want - you think you're gonna stick with Red on missions?

[ Since Reds are usually stuck fighting no matter what.

But that irritation? Ah, there's a sympathetic start as- ]

Yeahhh, chores don't really give you anything. Some people do them everyday, I know a friend of mine did. She only got a few points some months!

I tried it too, had a bet with another friend about getting as many points as possible. [ A huff. ] Didn't make any difference for either of us!

Oh hey, that's exactly what I did! Uh, with the black armband thing and asking the spider. Because I can heal and stuff and fly! I'm gonna try to mostly go with Purple but if anyone needs help I told her she could yoink me.

[He gives a thumbs up at that.]

Hey, sounds great! But you can fly too, huh? Who's faster between you and your little friend? Does it depend if food's involved?

Oh, she'll win if there's food involved! Otherwise, ya know, she cheats? She just climbs on me and lets me do the work! How's that fair?

She's coming with, mostly because she'll probably get in a ton of trouble by herself. At least she can tell what's edible or not.

Ahhh, clever girl! [ Said in that Jurassic Park reference voice and all. Aha! ]

Sounds good. She's so small she can hide up in your clothes no matter how fast you're going, yeah? But a jungle sounds like it's going to be tough to move around no matter where you are, high or low. Let's hope whatever we're gonna be doing's easy to find....

There is precious little he can do here: he cannot cook, he neither has nor needs additional weaponry, and he cannot craft anything useful; his utility is in his intellect and his skill set. Perhaps he will find other ways to help once full mission parameters are available.]

[There is one part of this that intrigues him, however:]

What exactly is an arms band?

[It seems important in context, though from the visual, he cannot fathom why.]

[ He should have made that clearer, huh? But Tidus doesn't mind, as even as he begins speaking-- ]

An arms band lets you put stuff away into nowhere. So-

[ --he's moved away to give the visual screen more room. He raises his hands where both can be seen. ]

I can make mmmy... ... ... --shield! [ look, it took him a second to decide, but indeed, a shield appears ] come out when I need it, or put it away --

[ there it goes, in a dust of gold ]

-- when I don't! [ tadaa. He waves out his empty hand. ] It can pack a lot in there. Or away. We put the supplies away in 'em, anything.

[He visibly startles as the shield appears, and stares wide-eyed as it disappears again. How- how--]

[He blinks several times, and then leans in. Tidus had his interest; now he has his attention.]

How does that work?

Magic, far as I can tell you! [ But there is a little more he can give than that, and his hands falling on his sides only just in frame, he'll share- ]

It's not any spell you need to know or anything like that. You just have to think 'bout wanting something to be put away, [ which Tidus indicates by squeezing his eyes closed for a second, ] and then when you want it, you remember the item.

[ Simple, right? He tips his head slightly. ] Best to keep a list in case you forget what you got though. There's no 'rummaging' around to remember what's in them.

[ Because that 'see ya' really sounded like he was about to bounce out, so Inigo doesn't want to assume he's still in the same spot he was using the ICP at a few moments ago-- ]

Let me know, I'm coming over to talk. [ Since he'd prefer to not do this over the network now he knows some people actively listen in!! ]

[ Tidus is always ready to bounce. But he's curious. Ohh, meet up? ]

Up in the second floor music room!

[ And he'll be there waiting, a seat by the upstairs ICP because he's not standing around for nobody!! He's got his notebook on his lap, rolling his pen between his fingers.

And when - if?! - Tidus sees Inigo, he'll get a - ]

[ Definitely a when rather than an if! This isn't some prank or anything meant to leave Tidus hanging, so pretty soon after answering Inigo, he'll find the other guy getting to the upper level of the music carriage as well.

His gaze falls on Tidus's notebook, but only briefly for a moment before Inigo takes a seat as well. ]

You heard about the visions people had earlier today, right? [ He figures that's why Tidus made that whole announcement in the first place! Got to prepare the new people for it, and sort out things for the people more used to it. ] I know they often tend to be weirdly gloomy, especially compared to how the missions end up going, but.. it still made me think of that one time it did go wrong and our mission got cut short.

[ Which was before Tidus showed up here - he thinks, anyway? He's been here for a while now, so sometimes his mental timeline blurs together a little. But he's pretty sure he didn't see Tidus in that weird aftermath where they were all smushed together in the luggage carriage. ]

[ He makes a small 'hm?' sound, needing the second to remember the mission that Inigo's talking about- an 'oh yeah' starting under his breath. ]

Did they have visions before that one too?

[ He knows they regularly do, apparently, but he also knows that mission was special. And that the train got spooked, fearful after that encounter. But his details about it are vague. ]

Hello, you said you have a pole? I may need to borrow one. Not just for whacking, but to also use as a guiding tool, because I can't see.

Hey- sure! You want it now? Uh, it's kinda clunky, but- [ But better than nothing, right? ] I can bring it to you!

[He smiles. He's been using his sword in it's sheathe as a guiding tool, but he needs something longer in length due to his height]

[ Roland pops up, but really he's just smiling calmly at the screen, the tone of his voice betraying the look in his eye. He doesn't pause for long; a finger reaches up to tap his ear piece twice.

Wireless communication! The best part of looking cool on a mission. But really, it wasn't common knowledge either so it's best to put it out there too. ]

[ Tidus considers what Roland's saying for a second, like oh, that's good to bring up too. Except then he realises- ]

Isn't that for one of you guys to do? You know, the team leads, or...whoever?

[ He thought for a second about the council, but who the heck knows. ]

I just wanted to talk about the supplies. But, someone bringing up about the wristband's letting you evac back to the train's good too. With the worrying about the dreams people've been having.

[ Was he the type to scoff? Nope. But he could have now, after hearing what Tidus said. Instead he'll just stay still, arms folded across his chest as per usual. ]

I don't think so. You're already on the network anyway. It's not information that should come from anyone 'in charge', anyway. It's just an FYI that earpieces and SCA's can do certain things for missions. Not a big deal.

Bear meat? Please tell me we have people who know how to cook them properly?

[Guess who has been avoiding the bear meat all this time? She has learned her lesson. After the eighteenth time, anyway. So.]

Thanks for the reminder! I almost forgot all you and every one taught me last time. About the food and using these "techs".

I...I forgot to ask about the price of those...I really wanted one.

Sure do! I had one of the guys who hunted to help out, plus some other friends. [ Haha- ] Good thing. I've never cooked the stuff before - but there was plenty to mess around with.

[ So hey, maybe he could have handled it anyway! But at that talk about tech- ]

Oh? Wait, you mean the arms bands? Did I tell you about that?

[ He remembers them talking about food... which then reminds him- ]

Oh yeah! I'll grab some of that bread for you and look out for you before we leave for the mission! You search me out too, so we don't miss each other.

[She is very relieve to know no one got food poisoning from consuming bear meat. Nike has witnessed the consequences of undercooking bear meat. Never again does she want to witness it.

So when Tidus mentions the arm bands, Nike will perk up!]

Roland told me about it during his presentation. He made laundry disappear! I thought it was a power or trick we all had, then he mentioned it.

[Not to mention, he helped her learn more about the useful techs in the train. Nike doesn't understand everything mentioned, but she does get the gist. At the mention of the bread, she will perk up more!]

Good idea! I knew I almost forgot one more thing other than a lunchbox! Where would be a good meeting point before mission time? I don't think I have much to take with me....
