Hey, so, mission time soon. [ Tidus wears a flippant smile at that. Fun, huh? ]

Just wanted everyone to know if you need something to put your food in or drink bottle, there's spare lunchboxes and bottles going in the supplies me, Lightning, and Roland keep track over. We also got some food ready: a lot of it's bear-- real bear, not that other stuff we got last month-- but there's other meat and non-meat too. Plus, if you wanna come and help make more with some of the food we got this month, we can work on that. Make sure everyone's covered. Doesn't matter what team you are!

Speaking of, if any of the teams need any for their groups or food...masters or whatever, you take some too, alright? [ He grins and nods. ] Oh yeah- and you can talk to one of us if you need a weapon, like a sword or dagger, or just a pole to whack with. We have a couple to borrow out, but we'll want them back at the end.

Well, we'll want everything back, but you know. We don't have many, so it's best to see what the missions are first.

[ They don't have enough to lend out willy nilly. ]

Guess this is a good time to say too, [ since he's here already!, ] if you think you can make anything for supplies, like weapons or- whatever magic you have, let us know! Anyone who can help with food, healing, weapons or protection... it's all useful.

And if anyone's thinking about going hunting or collecting materials once we find out more, we have some Arms Bands that'll help for packing away. [ He raises a wrist, showing the one he's wearing now. ] We can show people how to use 'em. Then you won't be carrying anything on your back!

[ He pauses, thinking. Well.. ] That's about it... - oh!

[ His head was about to duck, but then he raises it again, looking into the camera! ]

If you wanna hop around with magic and help out on different teams when they need the extra hands, ask Spider 'bout joining Black Squad! She's cool, and she can send people wherever they're needed! And the more people helping, the easier it is she can move people around!

[ Briefly he feels guilty. Because Tidus is right, because they should be preparing right about now - and here Inigo is, first thinking about the people important to him rather than the mission in general. Selfishly.

But something about the topic feels like it forms a knot in his stomach, and he can't drop it so easily. ]

I'd rather not depend on the train. [ He makes a 'you know?' kind of pleading expression. Who knows what the train is ever up to, after all. ] I just.. I just wanted to make sure we're in this together, in case it does happen. Or something else big.

[ Because Inigo doubts he could stop Roland on his own from doing whatever the guy would try to do. Even though Inigo would try anyway. ]

He has a son to go home to. I want to make sure he does.

[ He can see the way the concern plays on Inigo's face; what it must be saying inwardly, Tidus can only guess. But he knows he's thinking about Roland, and as Inigo presses in on his worries, Tidus puts a hand on Inigo's wrist. Squeezes it. ]

I know. And we're going to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid. He's part of Black Squad like me - I'll make sure to go where Roland is if he's as bad as those black - whatever things. I'll punch the SCA for him. He's not staying behind.

I'm not going to let anyone pointlessly sacrifices themselves. Not on my game.

[ He does still look a little concerned. Inigo can't brush the feeling off that easily, after all. But it's a relief just to hear Tidus say that, just to know that he means those words. They'll get Roland back safe if something happens, one way or another. ]

I'll keep an eye out for him too, of course. [ Which should be relatively easy, considering they're usually both sticking with purple.

Inigo sucks in a breath and puts the hand of his other arm on top of Tidus's hand on his wrist. ]

.. anyway. Do you think there is anything in particular we can do to prepare for whatever those visions were trying to tell us? Should we make sure new people know how to properly evacuate?

[blitzcheer]

[ Roland's fate is in your hands, buddy. ]

Knowing about the evac's good. [ Tidus nods. ] Using the comms... Problem is, we don't know a lot about what the visions meant.

[ He shakes his head a little, frown drawing onto his face. ]

And I don't know a lot about helping people in the middle of the disaster. Get them somewhere safe, have food, water, medical supplies? [ Ah, he realises, nods to Inigo. ]

Can you put some extra stuff in your arms? I wanna spread it out as much we can, just in case.

[flatteries]

Of course. You want to do it now, so we don't have to rush tomorrow?

[ Especially since there may be a whole lot of different preparations to do then, depending on what exactly the mission turns out to be after those visions...

Though even as he holds out the hand with his Arms Band ring on it, as if to show he's ready right now if Tidus is, he's still thinking. ]

And really, when it comes to disasters, people skills is the most important part. You can have the best intentions, but sometimes it's hard to get people to listen about what is safest in any given situation. [ He speaks seriously, sure, but also with a hint of experience in his voice. He's done this so many times in the future. ] I know you have that covered, though. You're good with people.

[ He's waiting to hand any over, for good purpose. For Inigo to speak, to say himself- ]

Let's hope so! [ It may be a bit weak, but not entirely unconfident. He knows how to speak, but in the middle of a disaster? He wasn't with the Purples during the cave in with the Terrans. Still-

Between the both of them, Tidus aims his hands down in that space -- and a suitcase appears, Tidus's grip on the handles. ]

Here, this is one of the meals. The ones with all the bear you caught. [ A flash of a smile. ] I usually keep some on me. Since I move around on missions, right?

[ It's not because it's free food anytime he swears. ]

[flatteries]

[ Wow, what a surprise. Tidus carrying around food so he can snack whenever!

Okay, no, considering the circumstances, Inigo doesn't quite think that. Especially since Tidus is working so hard to make sure everyone has a decent idea of who's taking supplies with them so everyone can get fed on the mission. So instead he just smiles gratefully. ]

You kept the ones with bear? Give it to me! [ It's said playfully though, rather than an actual demand. ] I could seriously go for some bear anytime. I wonder if there'll be more wherever we're going for the mission?

[ So, you know, he can hunt some more before whatever disaster is happening in those visions strikes. ]

[blitzcheer]

[ Here Inigo, it's here and waiting for you to take! Tidus will move his hands away as Inigo goes for it. ]

I'll come hunt with you this time if there is! Doesn't matter how we stab it, does it? [ Though- ] Guess as long as we don't stab it too much. 'Specially when we can give Senku the fur.

[ And he has to scoff at that, admitting- ]

Once upon a time, I never thought 'bout this stuff at all.

[flatteries]

Well, there's a first time for everything.

[ And in the grand scale of things, hunting animals isn't even really an upsetting thought to Inigo in the slightest. It's just the reality of his world, after all - even before things had turned out so badly.

But he's slooowly getting used to all this cultural clash here around the train, so Inigo at least bothers to look over at Tidus and ask-- ]

Unless you mind? [ Then again, most of the time it seems like Tidus doesn't even know any animals in the first place. ]

[ Tidus doesn't take the question for the cultural angle. Instead when he sighs, it's to admit- ]

I do miss living on a boat and life being easier. [ tbh tbh ] Can't I help people by playing blitzball instead?

[ Train? Please?? Blitzball to save lives?? ]

[ There's the slightest beat of silence before Inigo speaks up, because..

.. really? Did that just really go over Tidus's head. By a mile or so. ]

I mean, you could just go off and play blitzball while the rest of us work.

Huh? 'Course I won't! [ Bro, come on! ] Why you put it like that? I was just joking.

[ He's just sighing over his simple city boy life being gone. :( ]

I was too! I know you don't just skirt responsibility.

[ Bro. ]

I just didn't want you to think about it too hard in case it'd make things heavy. [ Since Tidus can't return to that anymore. Especially considering he said he'd be separated from everything when he'd go back. ] It can be painful sometimes to linger on those thoughts too much.

[ The thoughts of what you'll never get back. ]

[ Broo. Tidus gives him a smile, laughs. ]

It's okay, I know. As long as what I'm doing helps... I'll do whatever I have to!

[ It takes him a second but, that's what matters in the end, doesn't it? Whatever he does. ]

That's fine with me. I want every second of my stay here to count!

[flatteries]

[ See! They're getting better at dodging these misunderstandings. At least, before they get too big.

Especially since Inigo can't help but smile at that laugh too. ]

It already does. Every second. [ He grabs a hold of Tidus's hand. It's not the usual mushy hand holding though - this is more like a sign of determination. ] Since you're working so hard!

Let me know if you happen to get a good idea during the mission, I'll help you out as much as I can with whatever it is. Even if we're not near each other, or not doing the same thing. I'll find some way.

[ Because he just has faith in Tidus's ideas. He's got his head on straight. And what else are friends for but to help you when you need it? ]

[ Oh, Inigo... you know how to push Tidus's determined buttons!! ]

How 'bout you see what Roland and Glor are up to? [ Well, Roland at least. ] I wonder what a pre-mission Roland looks like...probably isn't thinking about that toy kit now.

[ That toy kit they possibly haven't actually brought up ICly yet because that was also on the 6th. But Tidus gets an idea, gripping Inigo's hand back. ]

How about we have one good sparring session, before the big day? Show where each other's at! Get out these pre-mission jitters!

[ Less jitters and more an antsy need to do something...! ]

[flatteries]

That's a good idea.

[ And while his tone maybe doesn't quite match Tidus's level of excitement and energy, the smile on his face as he looks back at the other does. It's just true - Inigo can't really think of a better way to get the jitters out than that, especially since knowing the both of them, it'll probably end up really dumb and worth laughing over at some point.

He considers it for a moment and then seems to realise something, a bit of that energy now creeping into his tone after all. ]

Ah, wait-- how about we spar first, and then I'll go see what Glorfindel and Roland have to say.. and probably drag Roland to dinner. [ Look, even Inigo knows to eat before a mission day, and he's so sure Roland will be too stuck in preparations and worries to even consider going to eat. ] Then you can check up with Lightning. And maybe..

[ By Naga, who even handles the blue team at this point? Inigo has to think about it. ]

.. Piccolo? [ That works. And Tidus knows him, so it wouldn't be too weird for him to check up on those two in an informal kind of way. ]

That way we can see what everyone's ideas are about the visions, and better figure out what we can do.

Alright then!

[ So Tidus starts, going along easily with that - but then he realises where this has gone, and with a pause that twists him mouth into an unsure thing. ]

Wait, since when did we run the train and have to chase after everyone anyway? [ He tilts an eyebrow, half an amused smile at Inigo, since - listen to them, isn't this what they're doing? ugh. ]

Being responsible's tiring stuff!

[flatteries]

[ He laughs. ]

Maybe you should have thought about that before sending out a message like this to everyone! [ Come on, Tidus, you practically called this responsibility out over yourself.

But him complaining about it a moment later is part of Tidus's charm, and Inigo finds himself having a hard time wiping the smile off his face, despite the knowledge of the visions still lingering in the back of his mind. ]

Sometimes it's up to us to pick up some slack, huh? We can't leave everything up to those old guys! They'll break their back.

[ He's not even particularly talking about Roland, okay, he just means it in general. NO TOTAL TEEN REBELLION YET. ]

[blitzcheer]

[ Does Inigo need Tidus to help him with that good ol' teen rebellion? ]

Oh yeah? You should remind Roland about that at dinner. Since it's just you and him, [ he lilts. Alright, look, you think he was going to let that go if he got a chance? Sneaking off to have dinner with the train dad! ]

I remember when it used to be me, you, and Taiki. [ Folding his arms. ] Before that old man came into the picture.

[ BACK IN THE GOOD DAYS, INIGO. ]

[flatteries]

[ WHAT'S WRONG WITH WANTING TO HAVE DINNER WITH HIS TRAIN DAD, HUH. He never got the chance to have that experience back home, let him indulge a little here!

Inigo's jaw drops as he hears those words, completely unprepared for them. He quickly shakes his head. ]

H.. hey, it's not as if I don't want to eat with you two!

[ WHAT KIND OF ACCUSATION IS THIS. Inigo may be taking it a bit too seriously - either not realising Tidus is teasing, or feeling embarrassed all the same. ]

I could eat dinner twice, you know! All you have to do is ask! [ How did he go from sometimes not eating at all to suddenly offering to eat twice.. Clearly this is the power the very idea of company has over Inigo. ]

[blitzcheer]

Two dinners, Inigo? Wow. That is committing...

[ To their friendship?? Tidus puts a hand under his chin, seeming to be appeased... ]

Wait. [ until he lifts his head, shoots Inigo a searching look. ] But who would you eat with first?

[ Huh? HUH??? ]

Does it matter?

[ The truthful answer slips out first, as it usually does when Inigo's brain to mouth filter is completely forgotten for a moment. Really, does the timing of the dinner matter when he's dining with all of them eventually anyway--!

But once the answer already has left his mouth, Inigo seems to realise it's probably not what Tidus is looking for right now.

So, as if he didn't already give an answer a moment ago, he now quickly adds: ]

I mean, with.. you and Taiki..? [ :D? Is that the answer? ]

[blitzcheer]

Hmmmmmmmmmm.

[ Look at this, Tidus (pretending to) giving this serious thought. ]

First sounds like the best deal... but aren't all you doing then is thinking about when you'll be having that meal with Roland? You'll just hurry up so you can rush off and hang out with him! You won't enjoy eating with us at all!

[ And listen to how not cool that is, Inigo! Listen to it! ]

I don't know! [ nope nope nope, he's not sure he likes this answer! ]

[ Wait, what?

How come Inigo suddenly can't win when it comes to this! He bets that even if he switches his answer around, Tidus will still somehow find fault with it, but.. he has to at least try, right? Even if he's walking right into a trap! ]

T-- Then I'll just eat with Roland first, and with you two later! How's that?
