Hey, so, mission time soon. [ Tidus wears a flippant smile at that. Fun, huh? ]

Just wanted everyone to know if you need something to put your food in or drink bottle, there's spare lunchboxes and bottles going in the supplies me, Lightning, and Roland keep track over. We also got some food ready: a lot of it's bear-- real bear, not that other stuff we got last month-- but there's other meat and non-meat too. Plus, if you wanna come and help make more with some of the food we got this month, we can work on that. Make sure everyone's covered. Doesn't matter what team you are!

Speaking of, if any of the teams need any for their groups or food...masters or whatever, you take some too, alright? [ He grins and nods. ] Oh yeah- and you can talk to one of us if you need a weapon, like a sword or dagger, or just a pole to whack with. We have a couple to borrow out, but we'll want them back at the end.

Well, we'll want everything back, but you know. We don't have many, so it's best to see what the missions are first.

[ They don't have enough to lend out willy nilly. ]

Guess this is a good time to say too, [ since he's here already!, ] if you think you can make anything for supplies, like weapons or- whatever magic you have, let us know! Anyone who can help with food, healing, weapons or protection... it's all useful.

And if anyone's thinking about going hunting or collecting materials once we find out more, we have some Arms Bands that'll help for packing away. [ He raises a wrist, showing the one he's wearing now. ] We can show people how to use 'em. Then you won't be carrying anything on your back!

[ He pauses, thinking. Well.. ] That's about it... - oh!

[ His head was about to duck, but then he raises it again, looking into the camera! ]

If you wanna hop around with magic and help out on different teams when they need the extra hands, ask Spider 'bout joining Black Squad! She's cool, and she can send people wherever they're needed! And the more people helping, the easier it is she can move people around!

[ Tidus shrugs. ]

We'll ask him. I don't know where alcohol falls for him. [ After all- ] I know about veganism, kinda... but- [ he pauses. ] Is there something special about his diet?

[ Something more than 'I just like not eating meat'? ]

[flatteries]

Huh? [ Inigo says at first, apparently not really grasping the question. But once his brain has had two moments more to process it, he seems to understand enough to add-- ]

Oh, I think meat makes him sick? One time he seemed really miserable and pale around the kitchen, so I helped him get away from there. I assumed it had something to do with him being a kirin [ hence the 'impure' thing, that's kind of what he figured may be the problem..?? ] but I never asked.

[blitzcheer]

Is it? Huh... could be. I figured it was a medical condition. Like blood makes him sick. [ That's how it sounded to him, when he learned about the blood sickness. ]

...but not all of the meat we get has blood in it. [ So. Huh! ]

I wonder what life is like for him back in Tai...

[flatteries]

[ It makes him think for a moment too. Maybe Taiki just started avoiding all meat, after not being sure what would or wouldn't make him feel so bad..? Or maybe he just likes being vegetarian? (Can't relate on that one.)

But then Tidus asks a question that feels even more important to think about. Though thinking about it makes Inigo frown. ]

I think it was hard. From what I've heard.. it seems like he's got a lot of expectations riding on him, especially since things don't seem to be doing very well over there at the moment. [ Not like he literally liVED THROUGH GYOUSOU'S PUBLIC NEAR-EXECUTION OR SOMETHING. ]

[blitzcheer]

[ Oh...? Things aren't doing well? ]

What's going on there? [ He's curious, of course. Tidus knows the climate isn't the greatest, more snow than anything (or so he thinks he remembers) that's not suited for humans. But anything else... well, he can imagine it being difficult as an advisor, but that's as far as his know-how extends. ]

[flatteries]

Well..

[ He stops for a moment. Is it alright for him to tell Tidus? It's not his world, after all, and if Tidus doesn't know, maybe Taiki is holding it back for a good reason.

But.. that doesn't feel right. Tidus cares just as much for Taiki as Inigo does, after all. And isn't it better for him to know if they're both trying to make their friend as happy as possible? ]

I think there's been some sort of coup. Remember I saw lord Gyousou's memories back on the island? The first thing I saw right as I got off the train was him being dragged to his execution, with some other guy sitting on the throne.

[blitzcheer]

...What?

[ Tidus stares at Inigo, face twisting from out of its simple concern a more confused state. Dragged to his execution. Saku. Their Saku. The Saku they've always known, taken to be killed, being overthrown-- ]

Saku's dead? Why--

[ The question slips out, encompassing plenty, but he diverts himself instead. ]

What about Taiki?

[flatteries]

I don't-- I don't think he's dead. [ Inigo can't help but go back to it, can't help but say that. He doesn't want Tidus to get the most pessimistic idea about it, after all, even though Inigo himself isn't quite sure how it ended. ] There was some commotion, right before it happened. I didn't see more, but maybe it got prevented. Lord Gyousou did speak of returning home as if it wasn't a strange thing at all.

[ So he probably lives, one way or another.

But it doesn't make their situation any less precarious, huh. ]

I think Taiki was there too. I didn't see him, but it was.. it was like I could feel him, almost? Like lord Gyousou was looking for him. That other guy, the fake king or whoever he was-- he was keeping Taiki near him somewhere. [ That's all the locating of Taiki he remembers in that memory, especially without having seen their friend present in it. ] .. probably since Taiki's the one who's supposed to pick the king. That's what the whole kirin thing is about, right?

[ As much as Inigo dislikes that idea. It makes him feel sick to his stomach. It feels too much like Taiki being used. Like he's just some thing rather than an incredibly important person. ]

[ To say that Tidus looks dazed -- it's shocking news. It was only recently that he learned more about Taiki's world, and thought even that it was better off, the way it was. The multiple of kingdoms that ruled over the lands, but united, at least in being ruled by a higher king. Who would mess around with anyone then? But while he realised that life still could be difficult there...

Tidus exhales, letting out the breath he was holding, not sure what to do with it. With any of it. Should he say anything? Should he ask? He looks from the table, then slowly to Inigo. ]

I can't believe... how's a plan like that gonna work anyway? People got to know something's up, right? How would you get people to believe any of that's legit? Taiki can just tell someone!

[flatteries]

[ He shakes his head. ]

I don't know.

[ It's not like he got to see many details in that memory, after all. Maybe there were more than he remembers, but he was kind of too freaked out living that memory without realising it was happening to someone other than himself. ]

Honestly, I don't know if that's that guy's specific plan.. I just know he looked like he was up to no good. [ Especially if he was getting Gyousou of all people executed. What has he ever done wrong? ] Lord Gyousou seemed at least somewhat confident that they could try to make things better again once they'd go home when I spoke to him about it, but.. it would still be rough, wouldn't it? The two of them trying to reclaim a whole kingdom..

[blitzcheer]

From what Taiki told me, a bunch of the other kingdoms helped them out in the past. They know them! And a kingdom knows who its king is. They just gotta go and take on the people thinking they can waltz in and own the place!

[ Yeah!! ]

They'll do it. I trust Saku! He'll figure something out!

[ Because why wouldn't it? It sounds like a crazy situation, but not one that couldn't have something done. If Saku's hopeful on their return - then maybe the execution attempt failed. It's possible. And Tidus wants to believe in them, the both of them.

They can't just quit and let anyone get away with deceit. ]

[flatteries]

.. I mean, it's pretty true that the two of them are amazing.

[ He doesn't doubt that, would never, not even for a single moment. If there was ever any king who could take back a kingdom, it's Gyousou. And Taiki is amazing in his own way, would surely support him in any way necessary. ]

So I want to believe in them too! It's just.. It feels like a pretty overwhelming situation, you know?

[blitzcheer]

I bet. [ But, he scoffs- ] That's politics for you! Stuff's exhausting.

[ He lifts his hands up, a total 'no thanks!' motion to all of it. ]

Good thing you don't have to deal with it, huh?

[flatteries]

[ Inigo lets out a sigh, letting his head hang back for a moment before looking back at Tidus. ]

You tell me.

[ It's exactly because Inigo has grown up in a world that's much more similar to Taiki and Gyousou's than to Tidus's that he understands just how heavy their plight is. ]

I was always already happy to have been born second. It saves you so much trouble.
