Hey, so, mission time soon. [ Tidus wears a flippant smile at that. Fun, huh? ]

Just wanted everyone to know if you need something to put your food in or drink bottle, there's spare lunchboxes and bottles going in the supplies me, Lightning, and Roland keep track over. We also got some food ready: a lot of it's bear-- real bear, not that other stuff we got last month-- but there's other meat and non-meat too. Plus, if you wanna come and help make more with some of the food we got this month, we can work on that. Make sure everyone's covered. Doesn't matter what team you are!

Speaking of, if any of the teams need any for their groups or food...masters or whatever, you take some too, alright? [ He grins and nods. ] Oh yeah- and you can talk to one of us if you need a weapon, like a sword or dagger, or just a pole to whack with. We have a couple to borrow out, but we'll want them back at the end.

Well, we'll want everything back, but you know. We don't have many, so it's best to see what the missions are first.

[ They don't have enough to lend out willy nilly. ]

Guess this is a good time to say too, [ since he's here already!, ] if you think you can make anything for supplies, like weapons or- whatever magic you have, let us know! Anyone who can help with food, healing, weapons or protection... it's all useful.

And if anyone's thinking about going hunting or collecting materials once we find out more, we have some Arms Bands that'll help for packing away. [ He raises a wrist, showing the one he's wearing now. ] We can show people how to use 'em. Then you won't be carrying anything on your back!

[ He pauses, thinking. Well.. ] That's about it... - oh!

[ His head was about to duck, but then he raises it again, looking into the camera! ]

If you wanna hop around with magic and help out on different teams when they need the extra hands, ask Spider 'bout joining Black Squad! She's cool, and she can send people wherever they're needed! And the more people helping, the easier it is she can move people around!

Aren't you forgetting something? Heh.

[ Roland pops up, but really he's just smiling calmly at the screen, the tone of his voice betraying the look in his eye. He doesn't pause for long; a finger reaches up to tap his ear piece twice.

Wireless communication! The best part of looking cool on a mission. But really, it wasn't common knowledge either so it's best to put it out there too. ]

[ Tidus considers what Roland's saying for a second, like oh, that's good to bring up too. Except then he realises- ]

Isn't that for one of you guys to do? You know, the team leads, or...whoever?

[ He thought for a second about the council, but who the heck knows. ]

I just wanted to talk about the supplies. But, someone bringing up about the wristband's letting you evac back to the train's good too. With the worrying about the dreams people've been having.

[ Was he the type to scoff? Nope. But he could have now, after hearing what Tidus said. Instead he'll just stay still, arms folded across his chest as per usual. ]

I don't think so. You're already on the network anyway. It's not information that should come from anyone 'in charge', anyway. It's just an FYI that earpieces and SCA's can do certain things for missions. Not a big deal.

[ It sure feels like he's getting a chiding here! ]

Alright then- [ listen to him Put On A Voice!, ] let me add that in:

Attention train! Earphones from the music car connect to your SCA and can be used for when you're talking across the comms that open up on missions! And if you're in trouble, hit the SCA to get outta there! Over and out!

...uh, actually, I don't remember how you evac with the SCA. Do you hit it twice?

[ oop ]

[ THAT VOICE. THAT VOLUME. He can't forget how loudly he was shouting during the ghost train escapade, but now he's just reminded of it all over again. Don't mind him, he's just wincing - thank goodness for audio only. ]

...Three times. Hit it three times quickly in succession, and it'll evac you to the Luggage Car. You'll be sitting out the rest of the mission on the train, but you'll be safe there. [ Or so they assume. He's long thought of scenarios where the Ministry takes over the train when they're off on a planet and that doesn't take him to good places at all. But for now, at the reminder for whoever is listening, Roland suddenly grows serious for a moment. ] Tidus. Make sure you don't forget that either, okay? It's not ideal, but it's an important emergency tactic.

[ Anddddd it passes. ] That goes for whoever is tuned in right now. Please keep it in the back of your arsenal, just in case. No harm or foul for backing out of a mission because of dangerous circumstances, or otherwise.

Right, right. [ It may sound slightly dismissive, but it's not completely. But Roland is beating well a tune Tidus knows (even if he did forget it was three knocks). ]

Don't worry, you know who you're talking to! But hey, speaking of careful - You been thinking up any plans about those visions the others got? Had any ideas about what's going on with them?

Good. [ 'I'm counting on you.' ]

[ Roland also opts not to comment on that, even if it would have come out as a joke. Talks of visions and next missions have pretty much braced Roland to return to a role he's more than used to commanding; Mr. Serious. ]

I don't want to jump to conclusions just yet. We're going to need to see it for ourselves. [ Not that he doesn't trust the seers on the train. ] ...I'm just worried what kind of work's gonna be assigned to us, given what the visions were. I hope we're not underprepared for a planet like that.

Well I've been cooking up ideas. [ As many as he can think of!! ...which is one or two, depending on how forgiving you are. ] Whatever's happening, there's gonna be danger to people. So more food, water, blankets. Romeo's gonna help me make more food with his lunchbox, and we're going to go to Piccolo to make the packaging.

Plus, I'll have Gibbs for any fires! Time for my higgledy to make his splashing entrance!

[ Which yes, is said more animated than anything else, a grin that shows teeth and a fist pumped up! ]

Heh. Well, look at you Mr. Prepared. [ He could say he was proud to see it, but he knows what reaction he'll get. The implicit tones should be enough. ] Any chance you need coffee to-go? We're running void espresso on wheels now, free of charge.

[ Hey, there's a thought. Roland's glad he was able to give Tidus the Water Slide spell just in the nick of the game time. ] May Gibbs be your ever-reliable partner. Just be aware of your surroundings at all times when you move around teams, got it?

[ Because no matter how calm he looks or sounds right now, the visions of the train seers has still left a noticeable impression on him. He isn't jumping to conclusions here, but he's not going to pretend it's not of interest to him either. ]

What made you get all that coffee in the first place? You just really into the stuff?

[ Because he's been meaning to ask, but the opportunity kept slipping him. Took him a second to convince himself that Roland spent points on coffee... ... ... not that Tidus doesn't miss good latte drinks. ]

But I'll be fine! It's everyone else we got to look out for. You keep your ears and eyes open. And Glor too! He's got a big enough pair.

[ Of ears, that is. ]

[ He's not going to comment on Glor's giant pair of ears. Wait, did he just think about Glor's ears as giant...?! ]

Couldn't have put it better myself. Call me if you need anything. [ Which is a given, but it's still something worth saying out loud. ]

Oh, and. Well. I drank it often, when I was back home. Evermore had a cafe too, by the restaurant. [ It's a fond memory, that much is certain. ] I decided to give it a shot. Third life and all. Plus, someone once told me I should find new hobbies to busy myself with. Can't let a good man like that down, heh.

[ Tidus draws out a hum, more of a 'ohhhhhh'. Listen to the President trying out new hobbies! ]

Wow, didn't even need me or Inigo to drag you into it. Good work! Can't wait to see what you'll think up next.

[ What can Tidus come up with at random? Oh-- ]

How about a perfume salesmen?

[ Hah! ]

[ He would be scared if the two of them suggested a hobby to him at this point...He can't predict twin teen behavior that accurately, yet! ]

[ Roland would have scoffed at that - it's also more of an occupation than a hobby - but come to think of it. ]

Salesman? Please. I'd run the perfumery. [ Though he's never thought of such a thing before. Tidus isn't too far off regardless; Roland's always been a little bit into grooming and vanity more than the usual guy. ] I'd know exactly what the customer wants to smell like just by looking at them, even.

See, that's what I mean! Plus, you'd get a bunch of nice fragrances out of the deal. I wouldn't scoff at a suitcase of different bottles, you know? You miss the little things like that when you're not on the road.

[ Even Tidus can appreciate the self-care and groom, even if he messes about with Roland when it comes to his hair. ]

Heh. I don't think it would be wise to take too many samples from my own stock, but I get the point. [ It's good to remember it too; that Tidus was quite adept at fixing himself up. ]

And what about you? You thinking of opening a void train restaurant yet, or what? [ Or maybe a gaming cafe. What other hobbies has he been exploring himself? ]

[ Pfft. ] What's the point of joining in the kitchen when everyone else is having fun in there?

Buuut... [ okay, let's think about it. Go along with it than just dismissing it. ] Maybe I could be a....

A hobbyist? A hobby therapist. Help me help you get a hobby.

[ Said just like a catchphrase. And on the go, too! ]

I'd like to see that in action. Why not?

[ What kind of advice would someone like Tidus give, anyway? Usually cheery, but he's insightful too. And more than that, the best advice always comes from someone who cares, and Tidus gives as much as he gets in that regard. His friends would all attest. ]

Back in my world, we'd call that an advice columnist. Or a life coach. Has a nice ring to it. [ He chuckles. ] Just be ready to get really boring stuff too. Your absolute favorite.
