[It's been a few hours since everyone has returned from the mission. Ryo looks tired - but gods, who isn't by this point? - but he's still here.]

I'm in the dining car. I have coffee and tea and hot chocolate - the good kind. I also have something that'll knock you out until tomorrow, if you want that. If anyone wants anything, you're welcome to come pick it up.

You don't have to stay and talk, but...if you want to, I'm here. I can also help you if you're hurt or still coughing from the smog on the mission.

Just...don't feel like you have to handle this alone. Even if it's not me, there's always someone willing to help. You just need to ask.

[Ghost doesn't reply to the network message - he just shows up, mostly to slide a book across the table to Ryo. It's one of the Psychology books from the medical car.]

Here - if you're going to be putting yourself out there for this, a better grounding in what you're doing can't hurt. I've got one on trauma specifically that I'm working through as quick as I can; I think we're going to need as many people with the knowledge as we can get.

[He's a little surprised to be given a book in response to all of this, but he nods. He knows he has more to learn; this is just a different way to do things. Endon's preferred methodology.]

[Otoha doesn't bother responding to the post and instead sits down next to Ryo. He's silent for a few moments before...]

... Hey. Can you give me your hand?

[He lets the silence settle as long as Otoha wants. He'd completely lost his temper in front of Otoha, and honestly, he's not about to be the first one to bring it up.]

Okay.

[He offers Otoha his hand, palm up.]

[He takes Ryo's hand, swallowing hard. He just holds it for a moment before putting his other hand under Ryo's, holding it between both palms.]

... I... sorry. I just needed to check... to make sure that I didn't...

[Otoha inhales sharply, his voice shaking a bit.]

That I didn't... kill you.

On a less healthy note! Throwing out there that I took a lot of alcohol with me 'cause I figured some people would need it.

No one can have all of it, and they gotta be at least eighteen or whatever their version of that is. Everyone I've run into is a special sort of fucked up right now. As in 'you guys need a support group before you actually hurt someone' fucked up so here's to having a drink with a friend.

[Not Murphy though! Murphy is fiiiiine. Murphy is not fine but he's at a far better level than some of the people that were on that mission right now.]

I can leave a couple of bottles with you in case a couple of consenting adults wanna mix it with their tea or coffee or something.

[Warren has taught him that if you allow someone alcohol and an appropriate shit-fit their chances of trauma recovery go way up. This isn't an accurate lesson but he's absolutely rolling with it.]

[Ayumi's entrance into the dining car is quiet, almost... hesitant by the way she's just leaning against the doorframe, looking in with an unreadable expression on her face.

Her eyes are puffy with tears.]

...where's the hot chocolate?

[It's not unusual to see someone upset after this mission, but still, she really does look like she could use some help. He greets her with a kind smile.]

It's over here. Have a seat and I'll pour you some.

[Ayumi shuffles over to the seat, a typhoon of emotions blowing in her mind. She knew none of them were real. They were dead, and she was alive.

...but. Was that really the last time she'd ever see them?]

[Della had mentioned how important it was to ask for help because no one is perfect and everyone needed it sometimes... but Mono doesn't feel he was ever that perfect to begin with, so where did that leave him? The mission is over, they're back on the train. He's safe, in clean clothes and only nursing a bit of a leftover cough but what did he accomplish? Not much. The only people he managed to assist were other voidtreckers and they had to stick their necks out for him just as often. It was hard not to feel dejected.
He's thankful to see other people awake in the dining car.]

"...'s it coffee?" [He questions quietly. That's the warm liquid people usually served, but this one smells sweeter?

Either way, a warm drink and a bit of company are exactly what he needs right now.]

[His Sense tells him there's someone else in the car with him, but Ryo is still not expecting the incredibly small person with the bag on their head. To his credit, he keeps a straight face.]

I have coffee, yes, and also tea and hot chocolate. Would you like some?

"Mm--" [Mono nods before coughing a few more times. Any of that sounded fine, though the final option is a bit of a confusing one.]

"Chocolates' a drink?" [No, it wasn't? It was a food, right? Unless he's getting his words confused. Did making it hot mean it no longer counted as a snack???]

[When Rich wanders into the dining car, he's looking just as exhausted, but at least he seems to be unharmed, and he even manages a smile when he spots Ryo sitting at one of the tables.]

What kind of tea have you got?

[He's not sure if he wants to talk about anything more than that, but... Ryo has helped him more than enough. He should at least be willing to listen.]

[Ryo smiles at Rich in return, just as exhausted. They all survived, and they're all doing their best. Good enough.]

[The smile turns a little sheepish at Rich's question.]

Most of what I have is medicinal - good for upset stomachs and insomnia, things like that. Aside from that, it's just what the train provides. I'm afraid Mami has the good teas.

[Perse comes in much later, hair wet from a shower, the bags under her eyes pronounced, though her eyes are no longer bloodshot. Her outfit is based strictly on comfort, hoodie, pajama pants and the softest shoes she owns. She hesitates before walking in, brushing a hand through her hair and poking her head in to see if he's even still there. Honestly, he's probably gone back to his room by now.]

[Ryo is still up, though likely not for much longer. It's been a few hours, and it seems like most everyone who wanted to take him up on his offer has done so. He's starting to clean up - there are so many mugs to return to the kitchen, though he's not going to wash them until tomorrow, when he hopefully has more energy - but he still has the water on and the ingredients out when Persephone pokes her head in.]

[He looks up and greets her with a tired smile.]
