Hey - 'sup everyone. What do you all think if we set up a mini-kitchen in the luggage room? Nothing too fancy - just so we can make sandwiches and get more drinks down this side of the train instead of going all the way to the big kitchen?
[ He hasn't been in his room a lot and feelin' the curse of being too low-energy to go to the kitchen, no siree. ]
I'm thinking...we'd need a counter, plug sockets - I think there's some in there? So...just get an adaptor? -bread, a toaster, cupboards. Some of the cutlery. Just something in the corner soon as you go in. And some snacks.
I don't mind spending points for it. But there anyone who thinks they can make the.,.cupboards? What else would be good?

[For a while, at least. He certainly seemed to be throwing himself into the train welcoming.]
... When my aunt takes up her tools again, though, I would expect it to be in stone. Another figurine, perhaps. As a memorial.

[ Because they knew the possibility back then - the possibility that became reality. ]
I'd be happy for the help. Maybe you and Curufin can decide on the best fit? Oh- and we can just stick with shelves. Or a few shelves, a few cupboards? A counter's gonna be more important, unless we get some tables.
[ A light laugh- ] I'm just guessing. I'm no carpenter.

[And it's not only a defense of a kinswoman he's fond of- Nerdanel daughter of Mahtan is the greatest sculptor the Amanyar has ever produced. There is no competition.
And if she wants to make a statue of the idiot she married, she will do so. She tends to get her way like that.]
You have working eyes and a sense of space; at first, that's all that matters. I'll go bother Curufin, to see what he thinks. But either way, I'll do what I can.

[ Why not, they're all over the car. ]

[It's not as though there are so many other options to busy oneself on the train, are there?]
I'll see if I can bother Atarinke, find out if he's buried himself under paperwork or something of the sort.
(No, he will never know why Curufin inflicted another survey on Orange Team. Also no, he will never stop making fun of it, that is the nature of cousinship.)

Heh, is he one of those who loves compilin' paperwork 'bout everything and doing work all by himself? I just usually nag 'em after a while.

And Curufin's is worse than most, it's basically Same-as-my-Dad Dad-Jr. Good job, Feanor and Nerdanel.]Most Noldorin forgemasters are particular about their smithies, but to be honest I don't know about the paperwork. It's likely better kept than some of his brothers', but that isn't hard.

Well, I know he's a Team Lead, and I don't actually know how most of them go about that... I just know one of them for Purple loves counting numbers for a hobby, so.
[ Please don't drag people on public speaker, Tidus. ]
Plus, I heard somethin' about the Oranges making a survey?

[This shit is why he had secretaries. Well. Back when he needed secretaries, that is.]
I'll see whether he needs to be pulled out of it, but either way you'll have your cupboard. I am a perfectly competent woodworker in my own right, and I've made furniture before.
