Hey - 'sup everyone. What do you all think if we set up a mini-kitchen in the luggage room? Nothing too fancy - just so we can make sandwiches and get more drinks down this side of the train instead of going all the way to the big kitchen?

[ He hasn't been in his room a lot and feelin' the curse of being too low-energy to go to the kitchen, no siree. ]

I'm thinking...we'd need a counter, plug sockets - I think there's some in there? So...just get an adaptor? -bread, a toaster, cupboards. Some of the cutlery. Just something in the corner soon as you go in. And some snacks.

I don't mind spending points for it. But there anyone who thinks they can make the.,.cupboards? What else would be good?

Sure! I know someone got a drinks machine, but I can't remember which one it was. But we'll need to cover all the hot drinks!

I have some wood set aside from other projects, but probably no more than for a few shelves. If you can obtain more, I would be glad to work with it.

So, this is a good idea and I think I can help. Back in my world, we have something called Capsules.

[Trunks pulls out his capsule case and pulls out the one labeled 2031.]

They store things in them, although I couldn't tell you the science behind it. I also know they should NOT be stored within the ARMS band, because I don't think they'd interact well with whatever space-time manipulation the bands use either for holding things.

[Holding up the capsule though, so Tidus can see how it just fits in his hand easily.]

This one though, holds a mini-fridge. I can demonstrate sometime for you, but this might be a way for you guys to have more than just basic sandwiches, and save space. I know coffee-makers and rice-cookers are available, and the mini-fridge is absolutely available. They'd just take points from the store.

Wow- those sound like they'd be great for the missions. [ Huh! ] Maybe... if we wanted anything like a rice cooker or whatever down there, those'd work for keeping them outta the way.

But it'd be easier to keep some of the stuff out, like a coffee maker. Make it easier to get to.

Oh, hey! [ That's certainly perked up his voice. ] I know Nerdanel. I've met Curufin a few times on mission.

[ And here, a small pause. ] You...think they're gonna be up for something like this?

I've actually already discussed with Roland how we can get small storage crates and similar for missions. I don't know what the store would let us get though--capsules can even contain houses or vehicles, back home. I do know it allows us to buy the mini-fridge, I got one for Cassie.

[OOC: Already talked with mods and standard rules apply for capsules. Nothing bigger than a large suitcase.]

... When my aunt takes up her tools again, though, I would expect it to be in stone. Another figurine, perhaps. As a memorial.

How about we focus on the basics for a good mini-kitchen first? We don't wanna stick everything in a tiny pod. But I think... fridge, drink machines, toaster. Oh - how about a grill instead? And a microwave.

Yeah, I hear she's good at them. [ Sculpture. He speaks mildly now. ] I wanted to get her something at the last mission, but I don't know anything about stone tools or what she had.

[ Because they knew the possibility back then - the possibility that became reality. ]

I'd be happy for the help. Maybe you and Curufin can decide on the best fit? Oh- and we can just stick with shelves. Or a few shelves, a few cupboards? A counter's gonna be more important, unless we get some tables.

[ A light laugh- ] I'm just guessing. I'm no carpenter.

Mini-fridge is possible, not sure about drink machines but maybe a fridge for ingredients and one for drinks? Toaster should probably stay out, as should a microwave. A camping grill is do-able too.

We should probably see what counter and cabinet space we can make first, so we know what has to be allotted for semi-permanent fixtures, and what will be stored in a drawer in capsule form.

I can donate some bamboo to the cause, though I only have knives for cutting it at the moment. It's not too hard to make a table, and I'm sure it could be made as a cabinet table.
