[ Hello, ICP video. There's a Tidus sitting on the computer chair in the standard coach when the image pops up, waving up a hand to the screen. ]

Hey, 'sup everyone! I got some stuff from the last mission with Inigo and Dennis that we wanna share with the rest of the train. Some computer tablets, VR glasses, goggles - hey Seto! You can do somethin' with those, right? - and some clothes and whatever else we could get our hands on.

Nothin' like books or music or food. Sorry! But if you like lamps or fans, we got those. [ Ahahaha. ] Oh yeah, and some first aid kits too, if any of the teams want 'em for supplies. And speaking of, Jane told me about these bacta bandages thingies they use where she's from. Like some kind of healing...gel you can sit over wounds? Uh, I got a book on it for an easier time understanding the stuff.

Annnyway, [ moving alooong, ] there's something I wanted to talk about with the last mission and those illusions. I know there's people who know how to work with tech or magic, usually one or the other... well, I don't know anything about making things, but I know there's a lot you can do with the right tools and know-how. And there was some magic and gear that could push back on the illusions. Like a bracer I have, and one of the spells on the manadrives!

I was talkin' with Q'uila - she's a blacksmith that works with enchanting. And I know there's this big chunky book on magic and magitek in the library. Uhh, I've never read it [ because NO THANKS ] but I didn't know if we could... do something? To help with these missions? Create some kinda...I don't know, big barriers when we turn them on, that don't need magic folk casting them! Put our heads and resources together and make somethin' cool!

A-anyway! [ Because he realises he's really reaching here-! ] If anyone's interested, I'm fine if you wanna check out the bracer that helped with the illusions - even if you need to take it apart. And I know Senku's been checking out the manadrives - that has a magic barrier spell too, and Light got manuals on the things. And I got some other gems and protection gear from my world too! If it'll help. Never know, right?

[ And for those of you who come into the standard coach, either because of the message or just because you were passing through, Tidus has taken up a table with a bunch of...everything on the table. Tablets, pens, folded clothes in different sizes, cute toys and ...cubes?.

And Tidus is sat taking up an entire booth couch, legs folded and playing a handheld game.

[ Of course Inigo isn't going to let Tidus sit there the whole time by himself, please. Playing shopkeep can't be that interesting, and Inigo can just be a fly on the wall - or, let's face it, the peanut gallery - in case someone stops by while he's there after all.

But for the moment it seems to be just the two of them, and Inigo is just sitting there with one of the.. interesting.. toys on his lap.

Hmm, we got some of those VR glasses, but we couldn't get any of the games - they turned out to be stuff you needed to download. [ Boo!! ]

Those bacta bandage things sound like they'd be real helpful. I'd be interested in adding them to our teams first aid kits. For us un-magic-y people.

[Sizhui comes through after the message, curious about the things that his friends have gotten on their trip. As he picks his way through them, he picks up a line of attacked packets. He reads the label and tilts his head, trying to figure out what they're used for.]

[ Tidus takes a quick look at Sizhui, as if he needs 0.1th of a second to figure out, is this guy old enough? And yeah, he totally is. ]

Ohhhh boy... [ And let it be known he didn't figure he was going to be talking about this today, a half-humoured curl to his mouth before he begins, sitting up some. ]

Guys use them for sex. [ Let's take our voice down by just a single notch. For privacy. ] Stops from any pregnancies or mess going on dependin' on the partner you're wearing them for, y'know?

"Oh! Yeah? Maybe?" By the expression he's making, he's surprised by the description. "By a blaster...that's a kind of gun? A gun that shoots out a barrier.. around anyone? And you can use it any time?"

[Ryo hears the announcement and simply heads to the standard coach, as he prefers to do things in-person as opposed to over the ICP and he has something else he wants to talk about. He finds Tidus and does a bit of a double-take at the fully-stocked table.]

Oh wow, you did go shopping.

[...yeah he hadn't meant to say that. Probably best to just get to the point.]

Anyway, I actually wanted to ask you about something else - do you know where to get an arms band? I couldn't find the listing in the train shop, and I was hoping to get one of my own.

[ He looks up when Ryo first speaks, a small low scoff as he pauses his game, resting it against his chest. About the speak, but the other guy goes first. Tidus's brows raise, but then his expression turns thoughtful. ]

Yeah, I dunno... we suddenly stopped being able to order them! No idea why.

I'm interested in some barrier-related stuff. I've been puttin' protections on my coat so I could be better armored up in a fight. You got any recommendations for that?

I ordered some practice locks an' cuffs. I figured not every mission would have amiable citizenry. [He's also worried about the Ministry. That, mostly, in fact.] I'll expand in the future but I grabbed a variety of skill levels. Even got a magic lock responsive to the magic types from my neck of the woods.

Oh, cool! You know how to use that sort of stuff? I'm not actually used to breakin' 'n' entering. Uh, even taking this stuff was kinda hard...

[ Even if it was just 'put his hands on the thing and make it disappear'. He's not a thief type!! ]

But the bracer I've got - that's good, if you don't mind wearing something. It's actually really good for any people to have! It makes barriers against anything, physical or magic. And they can help you heal up if you get hurt. [ Ah- ] Or there's brooches that'll put up barriers if you activate them? But they're a one-use. Still really good! They'll protect people near you too.

Bacta gets converted to a gel when we use it in patches. The bandages work well for moderate injuries.

It's a shame the medical car doesn't have space for a full tank.

Oh, yeah, patches! That's what they are. [ Patches, bandages- ] I think there were bandages in the medpac...

How big's a full tank? What - like a drinking barrel?

[A soft voice from down the aisle. Taiki had ventured out to welcome new passengers today, after a few days of not going much further than his room.

But Tidus' message had intrigued him and so now he is here, looking at the items strewn around with a thoughtful frown on his face.

It's a lot. He hadn't really seen any shops or anything, spending most of the time on the fourth tier. But he's somehow not surprised Tidus went shopping.

Still had they really had that many credits?]

You bought all this on the mission?

[ Taiki is always a pleasant sight to see, especially after missions. He always wonders if there isn't something they could do for the guy's ailments that come after the chaos of helping those in need, but for now, there's nothing Tidus has but the bits and bobs that Taiki is looking over.

Bits and bobs Tidus is more than happy and ready to go through with Taiki, except-

Er- [ bought is such an overrated word, Taiki!! ] Well I spent all my money down there! Hey, [ moving right along!!! ] you should take one of these!

[ He picks up a hand fan, in either normal or cat ears (Katy's choice). ]

Think they'd make you feel better when you're feeling queasy? Or there's one you can sit and keep in your room.

[ He set the hand fan down, and instead shuffles the desk fan over, sitting in on top of some folded clothes so Taiki can see. ]

They blow air! And you can set the strength too!

Lapis mostly tries to stay away from the comms unless it's absolutely needed, so in this case she's passing through when she catches sight of Tidus and his mound of . . . stuff. She blinks, pausing, trying to determine what exactly she's looking at, because well, that's quite a collection. Some things are familiar, and some aren't.

She draws a little closer to peer.

Behold, Lapis, his mound of Things (TM). Tidus gives her a "Hey" in greeting as she first approaches, but doesn't mind getting one in return or not. But he also - given his time on the train, and how different everyone's worlds are - does think to ask not long after:

"You used to tech where you are? Most of it's just for decoration or something to mess around with, but we tried grabbing what we could." He speaks as if she heard the message before, 'cause that's a safe assumption, right. "Just let me know if you wanna know what anything does."
