[Yugi had spent some time with Kaiba playing a few games before the other finally seemed to fall asleep. So instead of leaving him and simply heading back, he's decided to stick around and think over a few things.

One of the things he had been pondering about is about their relationship in general. It was vastly different now. They weren't rivals or even friends at this point. They were an actual couple. Which means things were different in a few ways. One being actual dates, which for the most part has mostly been gaming. But then he wondered if that was an actual date.

Thus the point of the post when he finally gets around to it. One upside was the fact that only Yugi could be seen, which was what he wanted.]

Uh... Hi there. [He gives a small and somewhat awkward wave for the most part.]

Can I ask something for those who are in relationship on the train, or on their world or... both if you were lucky enough to have your partner with you? [He paused briefly before appearing to looking slightly down and to the side, checking on something or someone.]

When it comes to dating: Is there a difference between hanging out and an actual date? Also for someone who might not have ever been in an... actual relationship before is there any advice when it comes to dates and such? This might sound rather... silly... So maybe just ignore it.

Also OOC note, this was the best way I could come up with, so hopefully this works.]

[Following an announcement early that day, Tony let everyone know where the council meeting was being held and that they were going to have it over the ICP so everyone could see it. He promised at that time that there will be a chance for asking questions at the end.

Tony has rigged the ICP in the dining room to stay on video and it's angle is at one end of the long table and he is at the other. The volume on the ICP in the dining room has been disconnected, but everyone else can hear it.

For the council members, they will find a stack of agendas and pens when they arrive and at a side table there is coffee, tea, lemonade, and a few hor d'oeuvres prepared.

Tony is wearing his three piece suit instead of the usual train garb and greets everyone with a mildly friend smile.]

Welcome, please take a seat. Grab a refreshment if you'd like.

[Once everyone is settled..]

Thank you for coming to our first council meeting with our newly elected group. Congratulations, you just got handed a thankless job that everyone will have strong opinions about how you're screwing this up. That's politics and you need to be able to take some heat because of it. Fortunately, there's a majority on this train that believe you have shown great leadership skills and you've earned their trust. If we all do our best, then we can sleep with a clear conscience.

So here are the cards we've been dealt. We're a group of very different individuals from a myriad of backgrounds and skill sets who have been taken against our will from our lives, our family, our time, and our world. For some of us, this is a positive, but the majority it is not. We want to find a way to get people home who want to go back to their old lives. In the meantime, we're tasked by an unknown power to save worlds on the brink who badly need rescuing. We've been given a limited amount of resources to do that and everyone here could likely list a dozen or more things that should be here to complete those tasks that aren't. In fact, probably everyone here has their own set of goals that may or may not coincide with the ones the train has given us or our train-mates would be pleased about.

The goal of this council is obvious. We want everyone to be safe, healthy, and supported on this train. Exactly how we're going to achieve that is what's up for debate.

Dear fellow passengers on the Voidtrecker Express:

I hope today sees you all in good spirits. I have been thinking a certain amount on the subject of birthdays - specifically, my own. The truth is, I don't remember exactly when my birthday was. It's been an awful long time since I celebrated one, so all that's left in my head is that it was somewhere in the spring. That may sound absurd, but if you think so, try spending twoo hundred years in the dark and see how much you remember afterwards.

In short, it is my opinion that at this point, I ought to be able to assign my birthday to whatever day I please. I've already missed out on hundreds of them, so in the interest of getting back on track, I'd like to make it as soon as possible. Incidentally, I do not wish to count those two hundred missed years towards my age, since I did nothing whatsoever during them and accordingly didn't age or mature at all. Furthermore, I don't think that being dead should mean I'm out of birthdays, in part because I'm still perfectly capable of celebrating them and in part because it would be terribly sad.

In conclusion, I would like to declare the 18th of Fiddlesticks to be my fifteenth birthday. Perhaps some sort of small party would be in order, but I'll refrain from demanding much, on account of my somewhat limited ability to help with the proceedings. To be perfectly honest, I would be perfectly happy even if all that happened was a few people dropping by to wish me a happy birthday.

Please council members take some time over the next few days to come up with and notify me of topics we need to discuss so I can prepare an agenda. If anyone who is not a council member feels strongly about a certain topic we should consider, either tell me or seek out a council member so they may relay the information.

I really should have mentioned this earlier, but... you know how the SCAs say that the natives are having their spiritual powers blocked?

[ Late into the night, far past the point everybody should be asleep, Sleeper Three is rudely awakened by the fire alarms - previously unused and untested - now blaring loudly. They might also hear a girl's scream.

Those stumbling out of their own cabins will shortly find the door to Cabin D popping open, and a flaming pile of fabric being thrown out into the hallway. It's shortly followed by Ifrit, a teenage girl with demonic black stone horns and tail, who proceeds to try and stomp out the fire, to mixed success.

The fire alarm doesn't go out right away, even after Ifrit (or somebody else) extinguishes the fire, as the smoke rises to the top of the car and keeps the alarm going until it can be properly dispersed after a couple minutes. ]

[ It's about a half hour later, well into the dead of night, when a video post gets put up to the network. Ifrit, wearing a purple nightshirt that's sporting a couple small holes with blackened edges now, looks irate and tired as she gazes into the screen. ]

Okay. I guess it's time I asked for...... [ cringe ] ...help.

Does anybody have some fireproof cloth, or clothes? Or blankets. Or like, something they can spray over all the furniture? I'll take anything.

And I... [ Her face contorts a bit, as if she just ate something unpleasant. ] ...I'm sorry about. All the fire. There, I said it, okay!? [ She turns the video feed off very quickly following the 'apology.' ]

[ As usual, Gyousou has been visiting the greenhouse to check on the small plant from his world. Which, in turn, has led him to some navel-gazing. ]

I have been thinking recently on the future of this journey of ours. Preparation is key for any venture, and perhaps we have been too reactionary... We are able to purchase animals and supplies, but perhaps it might be worthwhile to request a riboku, so that we might grow animals of our own and gain some self-sufficiency. I'm not familiar with customs for the creation of a riboku outside of my own land, but in Tai the village would assemble in a festival gathering, so that their prayers may all be heard.

[ He smiles slightly, expression wry. ] Ordinarily, we would also register the settlement on the divine lists... but here I suppose notifying the train itself would work just as well.

[OoC: Threads can and will be threadjacked by Taiki as he tries to do cultural damage control, let me know in your tag if that's not okay!]

[Allen was looking off to the side for a moment, to Timcampy hovering close by, mouth open briefly. Allen was clearly not that amused for a moment before he speaks.]

Will you just go on my head for the moment, please? Then we can get something to eat, but I need to do this.

[With that being said the golden golem very happily goes to rest on the others head and instead of just settling in just starts to nibble at the other's hair for the moment. Allen sighed, content with that for the
time being before speaking.]

So... This... might seem like an odd thing to want to talk about but before I arrived here I've had times when I have lost any powers I have and I guess this leads me to worry about the possibility of it happening here and not having something to replace what I lost.

[He tilted his head back, the golem still managing to stay put at the time as Allen was clearly uncomfortable with what he was about to say.]

I am asking because I have a very serious issue that could kill me should something like that happen. I was once very lucky that I was turned into a zombie, but I worry that next time I won't be as lucky. [He sighed once again looking straight at the device.]

So I am asking if there is anyone who can do something that could help fix a... hole in the heart?

[As he asked Tim was once again flying off his head and toward the others ear going to bite it.]

Expanding our skillsets seems to our advantage. Whatever bizarre situation we find ourselves in next, the more capable we are the less likely we are to get hurt. So with that in mind, does anyone want to learn how to be a wizard? My magic may not be the most powerful, but it is adaptable, and can be learned by anyone.

In theory. I've never tried to teach it to someone from another dimension and it might just not work, but it's not like we have any shortage of free time around here is it?

If... that doesn't sound like something you're interested in I DO have another, more unusual offer.

I've worked out the prototype of a spell that should be able to nearly instantly send a...a blob, for lack of a better word, of arcane energy from me to a target. The problem is, the target has to be animate or it can't lock on.

So...basically I need someone who's willing to get hit in the face with blasts of energy so I can test it out. Which I realize is a kind of unreasonable thing to ask someone, so if no one is willing to I'll just come up with something else. I have points, and I can make enchanted items, so I'm not above bribing people, if that's what it takes.

[A beat.]

Oh right that was the other thing! I can make enchanted items! Flying carpets and magic spectacles and other such fantastical things! If you can acquire the raw materials I need to make something, I will make it for you. Samata had never actually met the thief she had spoken to in person, but he had told her that he could get her a jeweler's tool kit and, equally importantly, a big pile of silver. Silver was a critical component for making enchanted items. She wasn't sure why, but experimentation had determined that it could expand a person's odic field in strange ways, and also interact with magical currents.

Which was why she was knocking on the door of someone she had never met face to face. She'd worked with criminals before. This was fine.

Erm... Anyways, I'm the Doctor-yes the one that was recently appointed a member of our lovely train's council. I'm not here to debate the legitimacy of the council so if your intent is to complain about that well-frankly, I don't want to hear it. I could go on for hours-possibly even weeks about why a systematic government with this many people onboard is, in fact, necessary, but I'd really rather not. Although, I suppose, if you must-come talk to me in person and I'll see if I can't ease your doubts.

There is something I'd like you all to think about-The Train. What do we all think? Because based on what just happened a few days ago I'd have to say, and my friend Nita agrees, we might have got it a bit wrong.

So I invite you all to consider this: the Train is alive.

If you don't believe me-answer me this, why haven't we been in contact with driver or conductor? Why are cars added so quickly? It also explains why we can only communicate with the train through the ICPs.

I've been mulling it around for a bit as I do have a ship that's also alive-she might even be on the other side of the wall and keeping the Train company for all I know.

I bring it up now because I think it's important that we recognize that during that last mission our dear Train got scared. It ran away-and fast from I could feel.

So the rumors say that a time will come soon when we earn points and have a chance to spend them, right? And we don't know how the points are decided, or how many we'll get, but if we have enough we can summon items that are familiar to us.

I'm familiar with the bear fund, and I plan to give to it myself, but I was wondering if we had any other kind of point coordination happening. The amount of items we can request by default is limited and not very useful, but personal item requests from home are a lot more flexible.

I was wondering if we could make a wishlist of items that we might need help acquiring? For example, if any of you are mechanics, we could use toolboxes. If any of you are artists, we could use paints and canvasses. Something like that...so if for some reason you have more points than you know what to do with, you could help the train be better prepared or nicer to live in in general.

Or if there's anything you own at home that you think could be useful to others, feel free to list that. What do you think?

Hey, fellow passengers.

So I've got a look inside these ICP monitors. [She taps the screen.] Remotely, of course.

Its parts are about what you'd expect from similar technology. Not quite Earth tech, but close enough to make comparisons. What's really unique are the materials making up those parts. I've seen some off world metals in my day, but these are new. Some of their compounds aren't even on the periodic table! ...Yet.

[Dairine grins smugly.]

Has anyone looked into the metal that makes up other parts of the train? Maybe we could compare notes.

[She doesn't bring up the system or programming discoveries. Those Dairine wants to save for people she trusts.]

[Taiki is sat on the bench in the small cabin, looking straight at the camera with a very serious expression. Despite the fact that speaking to so many people, even over a video is a terrifying concept and despite the cloud of sadness that still clings to him nothing shows on his face. Good morning. I apologise for disturbing you all. I was handed this ballot. [He holds it up.] Unfortunately I disappeared for a little while and so I have missed any run up to this election. [At least he understands the concept of an election, even if political science wasn't exactly a subject he had paid much attention to in school.]

I am still relatively new to this train and so I don't know most of the people on this list. I don't feel I can cast a vote without knowing what the candidates stand for and so, though I apologise if it is covering ground that was covered whilst I was away, I would like to know something of each candidate.
