[Video] Rabbit Day 3... with Rabbits

[WangJi was in greenhouse carriage as usual. It was usually his place for making any sort of posts on the train as he enjoyed it there. This time, there actually was a reason... because he had two rabbits and it was the month of rabbit.

You know... appropriate.

So Little Carrot was sitting inside his robes with his tiny head sticking out, nose wiggling as WangJi spoke]

Good day. I wanted to inform those on the train with a musical inclination that I have ordered a guqin so that others may try and play it.

[He adjusted the video to show the very long zither instrument sitting on the ground near him. It definitely wasn't his own. The colors were different and it didn't have any of the markings showing it belonged to a Gusu Lan disciple.

There was also Little Radish the white rabbit next to it, sniffing it and trying to figure out what it was]

[ It's definitely not the kind of instrument Madoka is super familiar with.. but on the other hand, it's not like Madoka is the most musical person in the world either. She sure enjoys art in general, and even listening to music, but she's pretty sure she couldn't do much musically herself other than play a recorder pretty badly..

But that makes it all the more amazing when other people are capable of more than that. ]

Do you know a whole lot of people know how to play that on the train, sir..?

[ She's not even sure in how many worlds that exists in the first place. Or how hard it is to try and play. But at least Madoka sounds curious! ]

[He would certainly be willing to teach her if she wanted. Guqin at least had the benefit not relying on air to make it play. Officially just plucking the strings was playing the instrument and they tended not to play fast paced music in general in Gusu Lan]

There are a few. The others of me know how to play it as well the two disciples from my world. It is not a very common instrument to play, but I thought that others might wish to try it.

[ Even though he's saying that it's not a common instrument, he's still summing up quite a lot of people from his world here on this train who could play it. Maybe it's something that only exists in their world?

It is known. Our sect is known for having guqin players.

There are smaller versions of it. The guqin is one of the larger zither instruments. If you would like it see it for yourself, you are welcome.

( it just seems Possible, given his own practise is ongoing, though... he's working with Inquiry. in theory. which. hmm. )

If you wish to assist, I would not object. It would be good practice to teach others. But as this is something I decided to order on my own, it would only be if you wished to.

....I would like to learn. I never got to learn the qugin. The pipa was the instrument I was allowed to learn to play.

I would teach you then. At least you have knowledge of how to read music if you play the pipa.

( lips quirked in a smile, he's mostly here to tease. still, anyone wanting to start learning new skills, why not? they hardly needed to master them here, but it was important, just as his own research and experiments were, to try and achieve new things while one could. )

How're Little Carrot and Little Radish taking the honour of having a whole month on the voidtrain named after them? Big Lili has to be basking in it, if I were to guess.

I'd hope the two would always occur together! That said, with other month changes, what do you make of the plentiful mushrooms we've been stocked with?

Of course. Clarity is not much of a song for playing for duets.

It is more tolerable than other months' options. Any good meal can be made with mushrooms.

[ That conversation months ago-- yes he still remembers this and it will be nice to do something to keep his mind off of things relating to his past experiences and a departed fox uncle. ]

[ Jin Ling might find humor in Little Radish and play with him. He was quite fond of Lan Wangji's rabbits for some reason. They are kind of cute, and he likes animals. ]

I can-- come by now. Can I bring Fairy?

[ Only because Fairy is a rather large spiritual dog and he doesn't know if the rabbits will get along with her. Fairy of course, just wants to play, so making friends with Little Radish might be fun for her. ]

I have a few times. It is not often I play duets though. Mostly flutes or other guqin.

Yes, I have found that learning new skills seems to be a good way to pass the time. What instruments have you played previously?
