[ Byeeee, ICP. It's time to pop over to the greenhouse carriage, and spot where this hutch and one little rabbit is. ]

[ Also spot a Jiang Cheng, who is sitting in front of it with his typical grouchy expression. ]

[ That is decidedly not a little fella; which as soon as sees the flemish rabbit, he does pause, just as Jiang Cheng greets(?) him. ]

Whoa, that rabbit's big! Is that supposed to be that big?

[ What do you mean, rabbits can be bigger than the ones Wangji has!? ]

[ That, at least, changes his expression to something a little more smug. ]

It was intentional, yes. [ He's not going to go into why, but Jiang Cheng knows and that's enough. ] An intentionally sized gift.

[ An intentionally sized gift?? Tidus would ask, but he can't be bothered, crouching down for a better look. ]

That rabbit could eat other rabbits. [ ...apparently, is what his brain thinks. ] Is the little in 'Little Rose' intentional too?

[ He looks over at Jiang Cheng with that, a small tug to the side of his mouth, a raised brow. ]

[ The rabbit seems happy enough despite its large size, head turning at the sound of voices. ]

It could, but I won't let it. [ Lan Wangji would absolutely murder him for it, or try. ] That name... [ He hesitates.

Childhood is a painful topic, but - ]

It's a stupid name. After a pet I used to have.

Oh? [ Ohhh. The guy is struggling to admit that, but Tidus brings his gaze onto the rabbit again. ]

Doesn't sound stupid to me. If you like it, go for it, right? [ He makes a small 'ahh' sound, then gestures around his neck. ]

Do rabbits wear collars? You could get one with a rose - then it'd fit even more!

[ What a brilliant idea. The thought of it is one that gets a tiny chuckle out of Tidus, smiling. ]

[ It's stupid if you know the context, of being an immature, somewhat spoiled child, but he appreciates the comment all the same.

He leans back, though, looking almost fond as he stares at the animal. ]

I haven't decided on the name yet.

[ Yet. But Little Rose is tempting. ]

'Little' might be taken as a joke.

Yeah - [ there's a huff, humoured, ] - but it's a cute one, don't you think? Like calling someone your little rose.

[ A very fond kind of 'little', on top of the obvious joke.

But, if the guy's worried about that... ] What about... 'Majestic Rose'? [ oh ] 'Grand Rose'?

[ Do those have the same charm to them? ]

[ His nose wrinkles, just a little. ]

It's a pet, not a child.

[ As if he would ever call a child his little anything, but that isn't the point. The point is trying to find the right name, and he sighs as he settles back on his legs.

Finding the right name is hard because this pet has meaning. Given to him from Wei Wuxian, an apology and forgiveness all at once. ]

They're not bad.

[ He just hums in response to the disapproval, whatever it might be, not bothered. Still cute to him, fond. What's the difference between pet names, for a pet or kid? ]

Then how about something like that? 'Something Rose' - [ not exactly that. ] -- I don't know what other adjectives to use, but that sounds close to the right track.

'specially if you get that collar. [ Heh. ]

Maybe Rose. Or Lotus. A flower would be nice.

[ There's a little part of him that has a name that would be nice to use, but he can't vocalise it just yet. ]

... Why would it need a collar?

'Cause then you can give it a 'lil flower clip! [ If he's moving onto lotuses, now. ]

I dunno - It's cute. [ He's not thinking any further about 'why' than that. Also, rabbits kinda look goofy to him. ]

[ He... Does want her to wear a little collar...

She's too big to be cute.

Y'sure? [ Hmmm! ] Then what word would you use?

[ Because Tidus really wants to say 'cute'. ]

[ His sister would call it cute, and so would Wei Wuxian, but he's not the type for such words. He feels embarrassed just thinking about it. ]

I don't think being big's doing anything against her cute factor, y'know? She's still a rabbit. [ Therefore, cute. ] But okay, maybe we can call it...being elegant. Charming?

[ Is that better than cute? ]

[ His nose is still wrinkled, though, and he leans back. It seems like he might have been here a little while. ]

I'll think of one eventually.

[ Tidus hums, acknowledging the decision, and not really having any better to give after everything he already has. He raises himself properly onto his feet. ]

If we end up on a mission with plants, I'll pick 'em some greens. One of the Wangjis showed me what was good - not the one with the rabbits.

[ There's a note of humour, a sheepishness, but keeping to a fond admission of what not's outright stated. ]
