Everyone, it has come to my attention that we have a new karaoke machine. I was excited at first because that sounds like a lot of fun, but when I started it I saw that there were squids performing on the screen.

I know that many of you are human or human-adjacent and that the representation of other species may be too much to ask, but I have to ask: why squids? Why not octopi? This seems very unfair.

I won't be looking at a gift fish if it has gone south but this is very frustrating to me personally. Are octopus really held in such low regard to squid?

Please let me know. I am quite upset.

Well... it is new, so someone spent their credits on it... I only wish I knew if it was on purpose or if the train messed up the order...

No way was it on purpose, I never said anything about squid or octopuses or anything else. I didn't even remember what it was called, so I described what I thought it did?

[Actually it does make her feel better knowing that the order wasn't intentional. Plus wasn't he one of those guys from a world that had less advanced technology? She's starting to wonder if there should be some kind of list...]

Isn't the train the root cause of most everything?

Its why we're here, certainly, but I think those places we went to were going to be in trouble whether the train went to them or not.

So we can't blame the train for everything.
