[ Della's face pops up looking... well, like everyone else - exhausted physically, mentally, and emotionally. She smacks her beak a bit, before speaking. ]
... So. That sucked.
[ Fully aware that's the understatement of the century, Della draws a breath, and tries again. ]
I think we could all use a nice, long breather after everything... and, gosh darn it, as Train Mom, that is my sacred duty. Hugs? Head on the lap? Head-pats telling you that you did a good job? A shoulder to cry on? Venting out all your feelings without judgement? I'm right here.
[ She slaps her chest, then slaps a small sign on on the sports/gym car. It reads
EXHAUST PILE WITHIN
But as she does this, Tidus enters the scene - Della jumps, surprised, almost forgetting his presence.
He just smiles, holding up two cups with steam coming off them, then addresses the video feed as well. ]
We're also making big batches of cocoa too. Any of you that're gonna stress bake? There's room for that room - s'long as you don't need a nap first.
[ It's a small chide though, his smile small but sympathetic. ]
I've gotten out some incense pots from the supplies - you guys who got your head thrown into a blender by that aash-- uh, that jerk, [ he takes a swift glance at Della, then back ] --it'll help you relax. Just some, but better than nothin'. I'll set some off in Momma Duck's air nest, but if you're not doing great and you think you need a pot? Tell me. Raven made a lot of good stuff for good nights sleep if you need any in the medcar, too.
... So, yes. Cocoa. Incense. Hugging. And if you want to sleep with friends for a couple nights, we got air beds and extra pillows in here. Nobody has to get up and go until they feel ready.
And if that's not enough, that's fine too. Maybe next month we do something a little more organized, if you have any suggestions - movie night, sleepover night, big eat night, whatever, I'm listening. And I'm here for you.
[ Action ]
And inside the sports gym, the pair can be found. They have a few airbeds blown up, but there's more that still need airing up if you pop in straight after their message. There's also a tremendous amount of pillows. If you want to help, get blowing, and make these airbeds look nice and comfy!
The transgate from the standard coach has mysteriously been moved to the sports gym's outer hallway. Who did that? But it makes it easier to bring in the cups of hot chocolate from the kitchens, and for anyone who wants to bring snacks to do so. Take a seat, remember to bring your sleeping bag and whatever else you want. Plushes, your own musical instrument to offer some de-stress medication of your own with a melody.
And there's an area where small incense pots burn away, a gentle mist rising up. It won't heal the mind completely, but it will offer it some peace. And if you're worried about nightmares, a few of Raven's sachets and teas are available.
So come get a mom hug. Come and offer hugs. Just come and get something out of the company, whatever it is. Tidus and Della - and others - will be here to give a hand.
The life you had might've been fake, but the people around you aren't.
((OOC: consider this a mingling post, where everyone is free to tag everyone else! be the comforter, the one offering comfort, both, whatever!))

Please, of course Inigo is present at any occasion at all that involves hugging. Hugging might as well be his middle name.. if he had a last name, anyway. But it means that he can easily be found inside of the sports gym, having made himself some sort of comfortable pillow nest - but with plenty of room to spare.
For now he's lying there by himself though, reading a magazine that - judging by the cover - seems to be about dancing. Look, no need to be subtle about his interest in that anymore after this mission. There's another magazine next to him though, and if anyone passes by, he'll look up and address them with a smile.
"Hey, do you want to lie down here and read this one? It's about.. uh. Ferret people." Realising that might not sound like the most appealing thing ever, he adds: "The jokes page in it is so good, fur real."
(Puns are healing to the soul, right.)
(b.)
Or maybe you're the one who's made yourself a comfy pillow nest. Or you're just sitting there, or standing around. It doesn't matter what you're doing, because you'll find Inigo approaching you with a smile, speaking up with an: "Is that spot taken?"
Yes, even if you're standing. He's going to take that spot next to you, dangit!! Let him
love youhug yourespect your boundaries but still be totally open to hugs. He's at least keeping his voice's volume and energy levels down, considering people are here for resting.i tag whatever i want
Don't miss the sparkly finger wave Tidus gives with the word magic, and what is he complaining about (this time)? Blowing up the air beds, of course. Though he's not doing that now, thankfully!, but is enjoying a wonderful break by relaxing back one.
"Wake me up when we show up to a beach. Tell the train I'm on strike 'til then."
Tidus is in his complain zone.
wow, you REBEL
Not that Inigo minds. If nothing else, he looks kind of amused when he hears that grumbling coming from the spot next to him on the airbed, and he turns his head to look over at the other.
"What are you complaining about now, huh?" Bro? Pal? "That you were being too nice for your own good once more? Or did Della hold a sword to your throat and order you to blow them all up?"

Since he's pretty much left to stare at the boring sports ceiling though, it is giving him ideas. "Think we should bring the projector in and turn the sky into stars? Dunno if it'll reach that high."
The projection, anyway. The room's likely too big, but he can ponder it.
no subject
"We could try," he replies, opting to think about the latter idea Tidus is presenting more than the idea of Della picking up swashbuckling as her newest hobby. "We could always prop it up with some other stuff, right? So it's a bit closer to the ceiling, if it doesn't show well when it's down here. It might be calming for some people while they're trying to rest."

He looks up as Inigo sits next to him, tries for a smile, and actually manages one, tainted though it is by the exhaustion that's been dragging at him for days. "No." A few moments, and then: "How are you feeling?"
(He's doing his best here - it's not very good at the moment, but he is trying.)
no subject
Though before the full on making himself comfortable part, he smiles at the other when he's asked that question.
"I think I'm doing better than most here."
Ryo included, considering how tired the other looks. So many people look so tired. And while Inigo was tired and hurt from fighting, at least it's something that eases over more quickly than the energy lost by the people who were helping people travel back home.
"Like you, for example. Are you trying to tell me you don't want a comfortable pillow nest while you're tired?"
no subject
He blinks at the question and takes a few moments to process it, and it still doesn't make any sense to him. "A- what?"
no subject
He shakes his head though. No, questioning that isn't important right now. What's important is making sure Ryo is comfortable.
"You want to try it out? I promise you, it'll be super comfortable. You can even sleep in it."

No one came out of that mission unscathed. He has been looking for Inigo before he had had to sit down a moment to rest. So when he hears his voice he gives him a very tired smile and opens his arms.
He doesn't really even need words, Inigo knows he can hug him whenever he wants to.
no subject
It's impossible not to tell just how warm Taiki is when Inigo can feel this much from him. It's not that he minds the warmth of the hug, but it is a little worrying, even as Inigo buries his face into the space where Taiki's shoulder meets his neck.
"You're so warm.. Are you sure you're alright?"
no subject
He worries that he is a bit uncomfortable to hug, as warm and clammy as his skin is but he nods at Inigo's question. "Yes." He sighed.
"You would think when the monsters were illusions... there would be less blood." It's sleepy, as close to a complaint as ever passes Taiki's lips.
no subject
Apparently Inigo can stand it though. The way Taiki feels so hot right now, almost kind of sweaty.. It doesn't seem to deter him at all, since he stays just as close to the other. Don't think this will keep him from cuddles. Nothing can keep him from those!
"I wish there was some way to make it easier. Especially since you worked so hard.."

"So, who's your little friend here?" It doesn't sound like he's making fun of her. Really, if he did, it'd be hypocritical, considering Inigo has a giant wyvern plush of his own back in his room. No, instead it's just cute to see Kitty hugging the thing, and he can't help but be a little curious.

no subject
"That's so cute! That you've had it all this time, I mean." He can only imagine it must be a source of comfort then - especially if she still has it here with her, so far away from home. "Any particular reason why it's a dragon?"

When she finally peeks out she smiled slightly.
"Welcome to the pillow fort~ Do you have an invitation?" She was kidding of course.
no subject
Before he continues though, he glances around at her little bit of pillow architecture here, letting out a low whistle.
"This looks great though! Did you make all of it by yourself?"
no subject
She moved to open up a space so he could come in as she made herself comfortable.
"I did. I figured it might cheer people up or something. I mean after all people went through quite a lot."
no subject
Or at least, apparently Inigo needs nothing more than that space being made for him. As she does so, he's already moving in with a smile, trying to find a spot to make himself comfortable. Which isn't too hard, when the entire thing is made up out of fluffy pillows.
"Then that's got to mean I can't be the first guest here!" Since it sounds like she's invited many people in. Or is planning on doing so, anyway. "Especially since I don't think I'm the person who needs some pillow fort comfort around here the most."

"Usually when you order magazines from the train, it just gives you some from some random world. I imagine the one this magazine comes from is filled with ferret people, because they're in every photo in this thing."
no subject
"I wonder what the ferret people would think if they got something from some of our worlds, then."
no subject
Was that the wording Della had used once? Inigo isn't too sure, but he remembers something along those lines. He just seems amused at the idea of anything thinking of them like that though, and then holds out the magazine to Haneul.
"Want to take a look at it?"
If he does, he'll find that it's basically a regular lifestyle magazine you may see in any world. Literally the only difference is that all the photos are of ferret people instead of having humans in them.
