[ Della's face pops up looking... well, like everyone else - exhausted physically, mentally, and emotionally. She smacks her beak a bit, before speaking. ]

... So. That sucked.

[ Fully aware that's the understatement of the century, Della draws a breath, and tries again. ]

I think we could all use a nice, long breather after everything... and, gosh darn it, as Train Mom, that is my sacred duty. Hugs? Head on the lap? Head-pats telling you that you did a good job? A shoulder to cry on? Venting out all your feelings without judgement? I'm right here.

[ She slaps her chest, then slaps a small sign on on the sports/gym car. It reads

EXHAUST PILE WITHIN

But as she does this, Tidus enters the scene - Della jumps, surprised, almost forgetting his presence.

He just smiles, holding up two cups with steam coming off them, then addresses the video feed as well. ]

We're also making big batches of cocoa too. Any of you that're gonna stress bake? There's room for that room - s'long as you don't need a nap first.

[ It's a small chide though, his smile small but sympathetic. ]

I've gotten out some incense pots from the supplies - you guys who got your head thrown into a blender by that aash-- uh, that jerk, [ he takes a swift glance at Della, then back ] --it'll help you relax. Just some, but better than nothin'. I'll set some off in Momma Duck's air nest, but if you're not doing great and you think you need a pot? Tell me. Raven made a lot of good stuff for good nights sleep if you need any in the medcar, too.

... So, yes. Cocoa. Incense. Hugging. And if you want to sleep with friends for a couple nights, we got air beds and extra pillows in here. Nobody has to get up and go until they feel ready.

And if that's not enough, that's fine too. Maybe next month we do something a little more organized, if you have any suggestions - movie night, sleepover night, big eat night, whatever, I'm listening. And I'm here for you.

And inside the sports gym, the pair can be found. They have a few airbeds blown up, but there's more that still need airing up if you pop in straight after their message. There's also a tremendous amount of pillows. If you want to help, get blowing, and make these airbeds look nice and comfy!

The transgate from the standard coach has mysteriously been moved to the sports gym's outer hallway. Who did that? But it makes it easier to bring in the cups of hot chocolate from the kitchens, and for anyone who wants to bring snacks to do so. Take a seat, remember to bring your sleeping bag and whatever else you want. Plushes, your own musical instrument to offer some de-stress medication of your own with a melody.

And there's an area where small incense pots burn away, a gentle mist rising up. It won't heal the mind completely, but it will offer it some peace. And if you're worried about nightmares, a few of Raven's sachets and teas are available.

So come get a mom hug. Come and offer hugs. Just come and get something out of the company, whatever it is. Tidus and Della - and others - will be here to give a hand.

Look at that reaction. It makes Tidus's already happy enough expression brighten more, glad to see another excited about it. Someone else interested in blitzball - even if it's just for his benefit.

"What else am I gonna spend the points on? Don't get your hopes too up though, I still don't know if it's gonna work. I don't know if the train can do something like that!"

Just get the hold of blitzball media from their version of the internet?

"But if we get it, I'll get the riven off Roland and we can watch it on that! And invite Taiki over too!"

(Guess who's actually very excited about this himself!!)

It's no surprise that Tidus seems just as stoked about this too. Inigo has never seen him anything but stoked about the thought of blitzball, and the idea of watching it together with Taiki sounds like plenty of fun to him.

There's no way he's going to let the train ruin that for them. Inigo seems to be getting more pumped up already, putting a fist into the air.

"If the train doesn't give it to us, we're going to revolt!"

Has that ever worked before? No.

But that doesn't stop Inigo from saying it anyway. They will have their little blitzball party, dangit!

Listen to that energy! Tidus likes it, and he eggs Inigo on, asking: "Oh yeah? Tell me what we'll do!"

Yeah, go on Inigo!! Tidus will quickly look at Jumblie and nod at her, making sure, "You'll join us too, right?!"

Look at her jump with her tiny hands in the air. 'Hiigggle piggle!!' We've got a high class upriser with us, comrades! Fight the train system!

Of course Jumblie is all for it. Higgledies are excited when it comes to pretty much just about anything, so a class revolt sounds great to Jumblie. Look at her go, she's basically using Tidus as a trampoline at this point.

"We'll just be real obnoxious at it!" Which, sure, Tidus is already quite adept in with his continuous messages strategy, but clearly they just have to amp it up. "We'll send it so many messages that it won't be able to keep up with it! We'll break it!"

Inigo nods. So determined. "All the way until it gives us blitzball! We won't take any smaller peace offerings!"

"Sounds like a plan!" Tidus lilts approvingly. Look at him, he'd be nodding if he weren't laying down. "Alright then - one nagging session coming up! It's been a while since I've really let the train have it. We can start with its shoddy leaving us at that fish place for less than a week to learn how to fight illusions!"

Yeah!!!!! (Does Tidus remember what they're actually leaving messages for again, who knows. At least Jumblie is agreeing with him!!)

"How about we tell it that even though the double rooms are a little better, be still need some actual space in the room that isn't just filled up by a bed?"

Clearly it's just time to collect all of their grievances. Even though it's easier to air them out this way - in such a lighter way, where they can just say it enthusiastically, like they're joking about it - rather than it just being stuff that bothers them or makes their life harder.

"We all deserve luxury rooms for how long we've been doing this now!"

Jumblie jumps up and down again, 'hiiig!'-ing loudly. Apparently she wants a bigger room too. Or she's just being lively.

"Luxury rooms we don't have to pay for!" Tidus adds. Because just remembering those hire carriages- "We don't get anything extra for them, it's just space! It didn't have any soda in there or nothing!"

And that's a travesty. Tidus knows what it's like to be treated as a VIP and he demands respect!!

"Let's complain together," he huffs. "In the same call, at the same time!"

Usually Inigo would quip something about soda being the thing where Tidus draws the line, but.. this isn't the time for arguing. They have to be a united front right now. And if Tidus demands soda, then he dang better well get it with the room!

"Sure, sure! After all, the train's probably getting harassed less now so many people are more or less out for the count, right?" Inigo can't imagine many of the people looking so tired or miserable here in the gym feeling very much like yelling at the train, anyway.. And that clearly won't do. If this train isn't being told what to do, then it'll just make even worse decisions on its own.

"The only way to fix it is by talking together! Let's tell it that the only poll option we vote for is down with the polls!"

Now it's turning into a true revolt.

THEY DESERVED FREE SODAS FOR PAYING FOR THAT ROOM, INIGO!!!!

But did Tidus expect his words to inspire a total bashing of the poll system? Not really, but he's here for it; helping to make sure Jumblie lands on her feet on the airbed as he turns himself on his side, since how is he supposed to just lay on his back when Inigo's getting this animated?

"Yeah! Just give us clocks! And pools! And let the kids get their art room!" No, he can't do this on his side either - he needs to sit back up, leaning with his hands on either side of him.

"Let's go into coach right now, and tell it what for!"

Look at Tidus moving around, shifting in pose every single second. That's how you know the boy is getting passionate! (That, or he's just displaying one of his many, many idle animations.)

There's no way Inigo can say though that Tidus is getting too carried away with it when Inigo is going along with it just as hard - and when it can't really hurt for them to leave this carriage behind for a moment. Maybe it'll even spare some people who really just want some quiet from their enthusiasm.

So.. there's only one possible answer to that, right?

"Sure," Inigo says, smiling. He picks up the ~~DREADED DEVIL'S INSTRUMENT~~ fan from the floor. "You get up, I'll bring this over to Taiki, and then we can go ahead and let this thing know what we think."

That's right - for once, it's Inigo steering this boat, and he isn't putting the brakes on their speed. Tidus should be puzzled by how okay Inigo is with this; not that he doesn't usually go along with his ideas, but wanting to nag the train?

For once, it's Inigo's idea. The one who finds asking the train anything pointless, even if Tidus still convinces him now and then to do.

"Alright!" But that isn't stopping Tidus. He gets up, the feel of standing on the air mattress funny but firm, stepping onto the polished wood of the actual gym floor and watching Inigo at first, before making his way over to the closer of the doors.

There's a tray of empty cups near it too. He can grab those, get them taken back to the kitchen along the way.

Inigo doesn't take too long, really. Just long enough to grab Taiki's attention while their friend is talking to someone else, handing him the fan and tell him they'll be right back.

You know, just in case Taiki notices they're gone and starts to fuss, especially when Inigo is not going to miss out on these cuddles, thanks.

But then he's already walking over into Tidus's direction with a smile, slinging his arm across the other's shoulders as they walk through the door of the carriage, out of the pillow zone.

"Wow, look at you, mister responsible! You've sure been nice to set this whole thing up with Della, and now you're cleaning up too."

"Ugh," ugggghhh, "don't make me regret this!" Tidus huffs indignantly, the whininess ringing loud and clear in the far quieter hall of the sports carriage. "Someone was calling me a fixer or whatever earlier. Like I'm so fussy do-gooder!"

Okay, so he might be a do-gooder, but he's not that kind of one! And he feels more like a dork now with this tray in his hands, but here he is walking to the door linking between carriages with it anyway. What is he supposed to do, drop it and leave it?!

"I'm just doing it because we're going this way anyway. And it stops the real fretters from getting up and doing it."

They know who they are!!

Tidus is definitely a do-gooder.

It's the first thought that goes through Inigo's head, but he's pretty sure bringing it up out loud right now will only make the other whine more. Still, he can't quite help but have an amused smile on his face as he listens, seriously starting to wonder who told Tidus that. And what the circumstances were.

"Come on." There's a pause. A pause where, in Diagad, the space probably would have been filled up with a 'bro' or 'dude'. He squeezes Tidus's opposite shoulder a little, right by where Inigo's hand is. "Are you seriously mad that someone gave you a compliment?"

"It made me sound like a nag." Grump grump, grump grump. Does Tidus want to be a nag? Absolutely not. There's a fixed idea Tidus has in his head about what a fixer is, and it's nothing he wants to be. Hopefully Inigo is being a GOOD PAL and being the one to open the doors for them, 'cause Tidus can't! But once they're trough to the other side, he's sitting this tray down on the first surface to come into view.

"Nags are what aunties are: telling you what you should be doing and getting annoyed 'cause you don't do things their way! That doesn't sound like me, does it?"

It's a contradictory tone - of, you can't think that, right? that's more sure, but the sliver of, please don't tell me I'm actually like that, man.

"I don't think they meant it in that sort of way."

Yes, Inigo is opening the doors while they're walking and talking. Or rather, while Tidus is grumbling about the idea that anyone out there may see him as some sort of auntie, rather than a hip, young beach teen.

And while Inigo has zero idea of the context under which it happened, or who said it, he still has a good idea of what they could have meant in general - just because of what Tidus is like. (Not a nag, that is.)

"They probably just meant that you're always trying to help out!" Now that isn't a lie. And that's what a 'fixer' could mean too, right?

Inigo nudges the other in the side. Especially now Tidus has put everything down, and there's no chance of Inigo accidentally making him drop everything in the latest circus act. "You're someone who tries to fix problems when they show up! Don't immediately take it in such a negative way."

Tidus is frowning, not even from the nudge to his side, but continuing from the subject that's his own creation; from the last of what Inigo says. But he knows that he's being needlessly negative, and that he can't exactly voice why he doesn't like it; yet, even if he can't-

"I don't like that." He says it, anyway, a little less whiny than the rest had come out, something earnest in the remark. I don't want to fix problems. It's not Inigo's fault though, and he knows this can go nowhere positive - it harks onto an older issue he had, coming onto this train; trying to do more than he knew -, so he brings out his ticket from his arms band. Takes a deep, huffy breath to stop being a downer.

"You tell the train what's for!"

... He looks at his ticket, then Inigo's.

"...You wanna use your ticket?"

Does it matter?

Inigo can see it happening right in front of him. He can just see Tidus slipping into something entirely different than the mood from a few moments ago - a mood Inigo worked so hard to induce in him too, rude, person who called Tidus a fixer! - and he knows he can't say anything about this topic anymore. Not even jokingly, since it'll make the other slide down into this mood all the same.

So instead Inigo releases a breath before pulling out his ticket, inserting it into the ICP.

"What? Are you trying to get me in trouble with the train by making us use my ticket?" He's saying it in the dumbest, most joking way possible, making a face with 'cute eyes' on purpose. Like he's trying to drag Tidus back into their mood from earlier before they get started..

.. just in the dumbest possible way.

"That's what I'm offering!" Tidus protests with a shake of his ticket. "You can use my ticket if you want! The train already knows I'm a cranky loudmouth. ...But I bet your reputation isn't that better," he slides in as an (audible) mutter, ducking his head aside for the full act.

He may have been erring on the edge of a more unfavourable mood there, but it doesn't mean he can't put in the effort on this easier one. Though, his mood of shouting at the train isn't what it was before.

Still, the two of them are here now. ...so what he can do is rudely push the Shop button. "Let's buy some sweets," he suggests cheekily.

(Is it a suggestion when you head that way.)

His jaw drops. Instantly.

Is this still him being dramatic in order to try and make Tidus smile, as if Inigo is assuming the other is a toddler who'll laugh at that sort of thing? Or is this genuine? No one ever knows for sure with Inigo, huh.

"Was this a trap?!" All along? "Did you just trap me?!"

"What?" Tidus says, feigned bafflement. "You like sweets! How's it a trap if we're both eating them? I offered my ticket, didn't I?"

Which has now already disappeared from his hands.

"You tricked me!"

Look how betrayed Inigo looks. Even though snacks are just a few points off his total, and it's not like they aren't going to enjoy them together later. He'll be fine, once he's done throwing this little dramatic fit over here.

"This is.. this is entrapment!" (That's not how that word is used.

But let's be real, Inigo probably heard Roland use it once, and just thought it was Cool enough to adopt into his own way of speaking.) "I could have you arrested for this!"

The funniest part about this blow-up is the detail of Tidus's crimes not existing.

That is: They're just sitting on the shop page with the categories to choose from while Inigo is threatening to throw him into jail (for a Thousand Years!!!!).

So Tidus just watches Inigo between bafflement and amusement (a daily occurrence), before deciding, "Well, if I'm gonna go to prison anyway," and finishes the job by tapping the page into the sweets section, and ordering a packet.

Whomp! goes the machine, depositing their delicious sweeties for Tidus to reach into the flap and take out!

The moment the machine makes that sound, Inigo lets out a shriek. It's a good thing that it's just the two of them here right now - or perhaps people are so used to the two of them making a scene at this point that no one is even paying attention anymore. Just ignoring it and walking on, don't mind the two escaped circus clowns here..

"Tidus!!" He yells. Like there's a mortal danger, and not just 3 points - three entire points!! - being depleted from his supply. "How could you, I trusted y--"

It's at this point that Tidus has - most likely - grabbed the sweets from the machine already, which makes Inigo stop mid-sentence to ask: "What are they?"

Yes, that question is so important that it slams the brake on the dramatics, apparently.

Wow, bro, you trying to help Tidus's mood with the dulcet sounds of your despair? Because it's working, the smile on his face growing as he unravels the top of the packaging to take a peek into the sweets selection.

Which, speaking of - he tilts the bag so Inigo can take a look in himself. "Want first pick?"

As if they weren't just bought with Inigo's points......... but that's exactly why he's offering!!
