Hey, everyone. I have a question for the medically skilled and the healers on the train. During the question thing that Enna-san did, it came to my attention that there's a passenger who has an implant of nefarious origins that they would like removed. I'd like to see if we can all meet up and see if it would be feasible to work as a team to remove it. We can meet up wherever you like, though you all know I'm usually in the med car anyway. Thanks!


[ooc: Ichigo is proposing the idea of neurosurgery on Rich to remove his Squip. If your healer character doesn't want to be involved, that's totally fine! As far as Ichigo is concerned, if they can do a full eye transplant on Xiao Xingchen and have the eyes work, there's no medical procedure that teamwork can't manage.]

[That is... extremely eloquent, but it's about all Rich can say when he sees Ichigo suddenly doing a palatte swap. He gapes at the screen for a few moments before hesitantly offering.]

Uh. Did Ichigo agree for you to swap with him?

[A hand with normal skin tone to it appeared, pushing on Zangetsu's cheek.]

[Zangetsu just cackled.]

[Like, naturally it is to someone like Rich, but there's also the whole fact that Ichigo is talking to himself and poking his own face, with two different skin tones.]

Also, just saying you should probably ask before flat out taking someone over. Consent is fucking important.

He's a lot better than he used to be. He's just bored because there's no safe place for me to spar with him, or let him spar with Grimmjow.

If you say so... I don't know man. I'm not really the kind of person who's all for sharing a body. Obviously.

I didn't even know he was there until I was fifteen. And then he was just such a constant that I got used to him really quickly. The worst was when I was without him and the old man for a year and a half.

I don't know if getting used to him is such a good thing... I mean, I got used to the SQUIP.

[Rich shrugs.]

But I guess if you already tried being alone and didn't like it, I shouldn't complain.

I've been able to see spirits for as long as I can remember. Except for a period of about two years from sixteen to eighteen. So in addition to losing the powers I'd gained to protect my friends as a result of fighting a war I shouldn't have been part of, the world was half as full as it should have been and my dad forbade any of my friends from talking about spirits, so they just stopped talking to me completely.

...That seems like a lot to deal with. I mean, I would have expected you to be glad you couldn't see creepy things, but I guess you would get used to them...

Sounds like your dad was a major asshole, though.

He thought he was protecting me to do it, but I did kick his ass for it later on.

Good! He deserves it! People should be allowed to make informed decisions about their safety. Shielding your kids from stuff usually only means it bites them harder later.

Yeah...it wasn't the first time he tried to hide things from me. Admittedly, at first it was a genuine concern for the safety of our whole family, but still.

Rich could handle his own life. Ichigo should be able to do the same.

As one of the adults on the train, I promise I won't hide things from you that will impact you. You're right, it is a shitty thing to do, and it's why I don't do it.

...Thanks, Ichigo. I appreciate that. I definitely want to be able to do my part, or at least know what's happening so I can think of something.

I know how that feels. Make sure you have your SCA on at all times, it'll let you know when a mission is incoming and help you know what the train knows regarding them.
