[The inspectors are gone and Ignis is breathing a sigh of relief. However, now that they're gone, he decides to check on his team.]

[He takes a deep breath before continuing. It's an odd sort of feeling, but this is something that he'd discussed privately and there was no time like the present in order to get started on it.]


Tony, Raven, Reigen, Renee, and Evie please tell me all of you are fine as well.

[There's a small sigh at hearing the girl's voice.]

I'm glad to hear your voice.

[That was really all Ignis really wanted, and to keep his word. But he notes the tone in Madoka's voice.]

Of course. Are you alright?

I think I'm okay.. [ Just really shaken up by all of this. She's had ticket inspections in trains before, but they were never anything like this. ]

W-What about you though? Nothing bad happened, right?

[Even if Ignis had the worst thing happen in the world happen, he wouldn't ever think to burden Madoka with it. So in keeping with that tradition, he wouldn't tell her about what happened in his cabin.]

Everything went fine, try not to worry.

[He knew that was a losing battle with Madoka, but he'd still tell her not to do it anyhow. But she still didn't seem alright and he couldn't fault her.]

How about we see what we can find to make in the kitchen once we're allowed out?

Do you think that'd be okay..?

[ Apparently that was a good suggestion on Ignis' part, since there's a spark of hope in Madoka's voice, even though she still sounds incredibly nervous. The whole mood the inspectors brought with them makes her ask that - unsure if they can just return to normal after all this. ]

I.. if we can, then it might be nice to make some sweets for everyone after this.. Maybe we could cheer people up.

I don't see why it wouldn't.

[The suggestion was because he could remember her being eager to help him cook for the team meeting that they still hadn't gotten around to. And not dwelling on something unpleasant would help Madoka in his mind.

Ignis was thankful e was happy that she couldn't see him smiling at her kindness and thoughtfulness.]

That would be a rather splendid idea.

[ She really hopes he's right. He probably is, since in her opinion Ignis is usually right, but maybe the inspectors will find that something is wrong after all and things won't go back to normal for a long time.. Who knows.

Which is why Madoka can't help but ask: ]

Do you think they might come back..?

[Here he wished he had better news for Madoka's sake.]

I would think they will return as we will undoubtedly acquire more passengers at different points. I must admit a curiousity as to where they came from and why we haven't seen them before.

[Ignis had wished he would've known they were coming because he could've warned his team beforehand.]

Maybe they came from the void?

[ Do people live in the void? Probably not, right, that seems like an awfully inconvenient place to live. But these inspectors seemed so weird and otherworldly that if Madoka had to think of anything living out there, it'd be them. ]

Because.. um, they were talking about interdimensional law or something like that.. I've never heard of that before.

[He'd shaken his head about the void thing though Madoka couldn't see it. The last part caught his attention though.]

I'm sorry, did you say Interdimensional law?

[This was news to Ignis.]

Yes. I don't remember everything they said since it was so complicated.. [ And also because she was super terrified, but that goes without saying, right. She really doesn't want to have to mention that out loud as well. ]

But they did say something about.. um.. how all transport moving through the void had to be inspected according to that interdimensional law.. or something like that.

It's alright to not remember.

[Ignis figured she was terrified and that angered him. That anger wasn't directed at the girl of course, it was more directed at the ones who made her scared. And somehow he found himself surprised at that in some way.]

Ah-- No, you don't have to thank me, mister Ignis..! [ Although she does somehow seem a little happier to hear it regardless. Even though she still seems a bit off right after all of this. ] I'm already happy if I can have helped out with just this much.. Maybe we can find some way to not make it as scary next time.
