Don't worry about it! But if you think you're gonna poison everyone just by being in the kitchen, you shouldn't feel like you need to be in there either.

You'll probably see some people from other teams cooking anyway. That's how chores always are.

Aaaah- in terms of using cooking knives though...average level? I'm not about to treat it as though I'm holding a claymore at least...

There are only so many people who can work with an oven at a time, and Purple is a large team. There will be enough of us at work there.

If you can help with preparing ingredients beforehand, though, it would be a great help.

Is it indeed? [She can't hide the sigh of relief, ultimately.] Thank goodness for that then... ...if I'm being honest, it feels as if it's mostly the stove and oven that fail me when I try, so working with ingredient preparation would be a good way to avoid that...

Rest assured, you will have enough opportunities to help. And if you find yourself comfortable with other types of work, you will have plenty of opportunity to help in other places.

But if you wish for help with managing the oven, you will find plenty of people willing to assist you.

I'm glad to hear that- to hear both things, truthfully, [she sighs.] I do hope that I don't have to ask for any help with the oven all the same, though. [Or rather, hopefully she can just stick to the food preparation...]

Oh-! No, not at all...I can only imagine it's odd to hear after all, ah...

...I'm not sure why, but whenever I've used the stove, it's malfunctioned in some way...either the heating element simply never comes on, or it comes on in full force...regardless, the result is always either no cooking, or far too much all at once...

And it isn't as if I can't pay attention to it of course! I've even studied recipes! It's simply...

Well, if you want to try and learn.. I wouldn't mind helping out! [ Yes, come learn from a 14 year old. ] I know I'm not on the purple team, but I really like cooking. So really, trying to help you would just be fun to me.

I would certainly be willing if we can work around whatever odd curse I seem to be working against... [Not that she's huge on curses and such, but then, her job Is diving into souls.]

Though if 'purple' is as large a team as it is, we may have to work on that outside of meal preparation.

They're certainly not unheard of, but I've only rarely encountered them...typically they're broken either by countering the force of will and magic with something directly opposite, or simply by taking down the one- or the thing- which created the curse. ...In the case of a person, one could of course talk to them but...
