VIDEO [IMAGINATION 1]
Ahhh hello! [Here she is on-screen, a woman who looks...passingly similar to Kaiba actually, probably nothing right? Well.]
Good morning to some of you- if there is anyone in 'Purple Team' who has a particular amount of skill in cooking however, I...
[There is a pause, and she closes her eyes- someone does not want to say what comes next.
She is making herself say it.]
...If we could arange for a way that I could help without getting involved with the stoves...that might be wise, [she manages with a cough.] ...I would rather not cause food poisoning of some sort, you see...
[ominous,]

[ You know. 'Cause it sounds like she should do a different chore?? ]

[She was under the impression these were assigned for a reason Tidus!]

Sure! Never gotten in trouble for it. You don't even get anything for doing your own chores.
[ Let him tell you about the great chore war of Fiddlesticks-- ]

[She coughs.] ...Nervous about prior incidents...

Or you can help with the kitchen clean-up! That's still working in the kitchen.
[ Right, it counts! ]
no subject
[She jumped right to her greatest fear...whoops.]
Both of those are rather good points actually, when I think of it. I should probably apologize for panicking so quickly when I saw the assignments...
no subject
Don't worry about it! But if you think you're gonna poison everyone just by being in the kitchen, you shouldn't feel like you need to be in there either.
You'll probably see some people from other teams cooking anyway. That's how chores always are.
[ The stiffs who follow their team chore, the people who do whatever
and then the 'nah no thanks' crowd. ]

Ahh, though that's true, I did a few runs of my own laundry despite things, last week....

Aaaah- in terms of using cooking knives though...average level? I'm not about to treat it as though I'm holding a claymore at least...

If you can help with preparing ingredients beforehand, though, it would be a great help.
no subject
[She just wishes she could figure out why it kept happening...]
no subject
But if you wish for help with managing the oven, you will find plenty of people willing to assist you.

[He promises,]
But I confess, I grow curious- would you consider it rude if I asked why it was such a problem?
no subject
Oh-! No, not at all...I can only imagine it's odd to hear after all, ah...
...I'm not sure why, but whenever I've used the stove, it's malfunctioned in some way...either the heating element simply never comes on, or it comes on in full force...regardless, the result is always either no cooking, or far too much all at once...

video;
Um.. Yuume-san? Are you saying you have trouble cooking..?
[ That is what this message makes it sound like, right. ]
no subject
And it isn't as if I can't pay attention to it of course! I've even studied recipes! It's simply...
[She's not sure how, but for some reason, stoves just hate her! She's certain. The way she trails off makes it rather clear that she doesn't really have a good excuse though.] ...

Well, if you want to try and learn.. I wouldn't mind helping out! [ Yes, come learn from a 14 year old. ] I know I'm not on the purple team, but I really like cooking. So really, trying to help you would just be fun to me.
[ And it'd be a good way to bond with a roommate, she thinks!! ]
no subject
Though if 'purple' is as large a team as it is, we may have to work on that outside of meal preparation.

[ Or rather, Madoka can free up time whenever.. She's quite busy with how seriously she takes chores and the like, after all! But she's always willing to help someone else, no matter what she's doing. ]
Though.. do you think it's a literal curse? [ ??? Madoka sure hopes not. She's pretty good at cooking, but she sure is no exorcist. That may require a different level of help. ]
no subject
[With their careful attitudes, this may never happen...]
I certainly hope it isn't though- at the best of times, those are quite terrible to remove, [she mutters with the tone of someone talking about a particularly irritating pest problem.]
no subject
Madoka stares. Wondering if she should ask? Would it be weird to ask? Or even worse-- would it be impolite to ask? The horror!
Maybe it's okay as long as she's gentle about it.. ]
Um... [ Slooowly.. ] Are curses.. normal in your world? Have you often dealt with them?
[ SINCE YUUME IS TALKING ABOUT IT SO CASUALLY. Madoka only knows curses from movies!! ]
no subject
But...hm.] Not too common? They're certainly not unheard of, but I've only rarely encountered them...typically they're broken either by countering the force of will and magic with something directly opposite, or simply by taking down the one- or the thing- which created the curse. ...In the case of a person, one could of course talk to them but...
