video + poll - Horseshoe 18, evening
Hey, everyone! For those of you who don't know, my name's Lea. Back at the beginning of the month, I posted a message here wondering about how the names of the train's months get decided, and how they seem to be going in alphabetical order. After talking a bit with Kitty, we came up with an idea of having a little fun with the idea by starting up a sort of betting pool around it.
The rules are simple. Post a message here with what you think the name of the next month is going to be. It can be video, voice, or text, whichever works best for you. The only criteria are that the name you pick has to be a noun starting with the letter 'i'. Don't worry if your word is a duplicate of someone else's though; that's actually important.
After about a week, I'll take the top three most common answers and put them up on a sheet of paper on the dining car wall. Then you just sign your name under the one you think is most likely to be the name of the next month. If the new month is named one of those three words, anyone with their name under the correct word will get a voucher that they can hand over to someone whose name is under one of the words that didn't win in exchange for either a small favor- think something like doing one of their chores for them or fixing them a meal- or a cheap item from the shop - something 10 points or less.
If none of the words in the betting pool win, no one wins or loses anything. Though we can always try it again for the month after if people like the idea. Anyway, I hope everyone has fun with it! I'll put up written versions of this message too, for those who might've missed it or are just late getting their ideas in, so there's no big rush.
Good luck everybody!

[It was too grim a thought for her to dwell on. In the end, it wouldn't even matter. She couldn't come back. She knew this. The world was far too big to be held underground. And there was more love in the hearts of the people on the surface. She would persuade. She would fight. She would die, even. But she would never, ever go back.]
...you are a terrible Organization member. [She said without a hint of malice. There's a pause, and her tone becomes much softer and warm.] ...and a very good friend.

Guilty as charged. And thanks.
Though if I was smarter, I'd have just gone with him when he left.
[Maybe then he'd have... No. No way of knowing if it would've improved anything. Or if Roxas would've even accepted the offer at the time.]
Guess I was always just a bit slow on the uptake about some things.

But by the grace of chance we take part in this dance
And put our faith that our hopes and dreams take wing.
[She shakes her head.]
I'm sure you did what you thought was best at the time.

[Which was honestly part of the problem. He'd thought he was doing the right thing, but in the end, he'd just messed things up more.]
That's true enough though. And pretty poetic. You come up with that yourself?

[Her face glows magenta and she could just nod.]

I was never much for writing poetry myself, but it's always kinda cool seeing what other people can come up with.

You get... a lot of free time... on guard duty...

I guess you spent that time pretty well then.
Kinda makes me wonder if anybody else I know might have a secret poetic side. Isa seems the type- quiet, keeps mostly to himself, secretly pretty sensitive- but I've known him long enough to know he doesn't really do poetry. Maybe Kairi or Ienzo, though; Kairi writes a lot and Ienzo literally used books as weapons when he was with the Organization.
