 Uh, hello? I was wondering if anyone could help me out with something. There's something I want to make, but I couldn't find any art supplies in the game room. Does anyone know if there is anything like markers and big sheets of paper anywhere?

Also!  Does anyone like playing hide and go seek? Because Guilmon wants to play, but it isn't as fun with just two people.

[Takato moves to close the message, and then pauses as one more thought occurs to him.]

I guess I had one more question. I know there are people from a lot of worlds here. So I was just wondering. Do any of your worlds have Digital Worlds?

I guess I'm mostly just curious. I know there are other worlds besides mine that have digital worlds. But I wonder what the other ones are like.

What does yours look like, though?

My Digital World is huge, and looked very different in the different parts. But the top layer, the one that was closest to the Real World, that looked like a desert. There was spare data that was being blown around by the wind, and in the sky above you could see the real world's network, and beams of light where data was being transferred to it. And there wasn't a sunset or sunrise. All the lights just suddenly went out at once.

That's a lot more detail on the layers than I'd have expected.

[But then, she's no techhead.]

But the lights just going out makes sense, doesn't it? If the input's a rendering of zeros and ones, there's not an in-between value.

And there were other parts too. Forests and cities and oceans... There was even a library underwater that we had to swim to reach!

I guess so? I don't really know a lot about why it was like that.

[That almost made it sound like a video game... but Nita wasn't going to let herself fall into that trap; it was just as real as any other Earth.]

It's not really meant to be analyzed, though, I guess.

Just lived in. Like any other world.

"Yeah!" Takato was enthusiastic about this for a brief moment. It was always great meeting someone who got it. But then his expression quickly falls.

"I wonder what it looks like that now. A lot of it was destroyed when the D-Reaper attacked."

Nita looks both saddened and concerned at that particular callback to their last conversation.

"Is anyone still there? If it's like any ecosystem, and there's people looking out for it, it should be able to bounce back..."

But that wasn't a guarantee.

The sovereigns were.They were the strongest out of all of the digimon, so I guess if anyone could do that, they could. And just before we left, all of the other digimon evolved to their highest levels to help fight the chaos. They might have made it through.

Nita nods, though she still looks somber.

"But there wasn't a way for you to tell, wherever you were before you got on this train?"

That, on top of the difficulty of being on the train, means finding out what happened seems near-impossible right now.

It was never easy to contact the Digital World, and it was so terribly damaged... I just had to hope that one day it would heal.

... It's going to be like that with most of the worlds we visit as Voidtreckers, too, I'll warn you.

[And they weren't somehow going to be connected to each other, like the Digital World was.]

So we have to hope regardless.
