Hey, everyone! Since we have so many new people on the train, I figure this is a good time for this. In two days, on Horseshoe 19, I'm going to run a wellness clinic. What that means is you come to the medical car, I make a medical file for you so we have a solid baseline to compare to in case you're ever feeling unwell or injured in some way. It'll help us on the medical staff help you, so volunteering would be appreciated.

Honestly, though, help a med student out? I don't want my charting skills to get rusty, and I'm not afraid to trip the stubborn folks. (Kidding!)

I can understand that fear, there are some pretty unscrupulous bastards back home that would use a request like this to do nasty shit. All I want to do is get a baseline for vitals, maybe check reflexes, and make a note of any pre-existing conditions that might impact your health or future treatment of injuries or illness. Any question I ask, you can refuse to answer.

"Okay I understand that. It's good to have a little warning. When I first arrived at a new place I had to have a look over and wasn't warned about how something was dealt with... to say I was surprised and it wasn't fun was an understatement.

I understood why it was needed.

[In Komui's case because he had been injured thanks to Kanda and the other was to check how synced he was with his innocence. It made sense as to why they needed to be done... still would have been nice with a warning.]

But yeah for some it's still nice to have some warning.
