[And councilmember, but she's not speaking in that role. A small wave and exhale, and then she's right down to business.]

There'll be a team meeting the day after the new arrivals- complete with snacks and drinks if we can manage it. As for what it'll be about, there's a few points that'll come up, but the most important is we need to figure out what, exactly, each of us can do and where our weaknesses lay.

[Another exhale and this time a wry grin.]

I hope to see all Oranges there, even if it's just to fill out the survey me and Curufin-san'll be implementing.

Della saw fragments of my younger years. Can't really call it a childhood. The abandonment, and the strict upbringing later. How I tried and often failed to be a real family for Mokuba.

[ He pauses to regroup, seeming to be gathering his will for something. ]

[There's a flicker of something in her eyes at that, as if she too had seen fragments of her childhood. But then it's gone, shoved aside for now. It's not the first time she's been surprised with hugs and it won't be the last.

It is, however, the first time a brother's surprise hugged her. She goes with it, wrapping an arm around him with a grin.]

You're welcome. Welcome to the family. You, Motou-kun, and Della-san, I guess- if she wants it.

[More mums are always awesome if you ask Eva, and honestly, Seto deserves a mum.

And of course Yugi's now part of the extended family.] I'll spare you the headruffle, Seto-kun, I think...

[And horrific upgrade get. now wait two IC months or less until it's just Seto.]

[ Little flustered there. They definitely had some strong ties now, but not....that...

[Adopted mums are just as good as real mums and it's not blood-ties that count, honestly.

That said, her grin turns downright impish at that. There's a reason she trains fairy-types, Seto.
