[Video] An announcement
[Senku will make sure everyone can see him, because this is kind of important. Thanks to several discussions with multiple people who think he needs to tell people what he can do, he can actually agree in this case.]
Hello. If I haven't met you, I'm Senku.
[Even if they had met, they may not have gotten his name.]
It's come to my attention, that aside from a woefully inadequate medical supply, this trip appears to be lacking in medical personnel.
It should be known that for about three years I've been acting in the capacity of a doctor where I come from.
I'm a scientist, but I did a lot of study in the medical field, traveling around the world and learning how to deal with different pathogens in my early teenage years.
I have treated and diagnosed illnesses, injuries and performed surgery including an IV blood transfusion.
The reason for telling you this, is if you require medical attention, you can come and find me and I'll help you.
[A pause, he remembers his conversation with Minako.]
I'm also happy to answer any scientific-related questions pertaining to any of the scientific-related fields, such as geology, physics, biology, chemistry, engineering and mathematics to name a few. Minako told me to mention that. [He shrugs slightly.]
That's it.

[ But no, while that is of medical interest to her, it's not the point right now. ]
Point is, they have no reason to be concerned with keeping us alive. They can just bring us back if we die.

[ That's maybe not a typical response, but when things are strange or out of the ordinary, he just finds himself with more questions than anything. ]
I wonder how the mechanics of that work. It hardly seems very efficient when it's just as easy to keep us alive, unless for some reason there isn't much to resurrection, however it is they're doing it.
And then what, are they expecting us to use it as a medical shortcut?

[ It's a disturbing thought, though, even knowing people will come back to life it's just not a path she would be comfortable with. ]
Not that I'm in favor of it. It's our task to save lives, not kill people for our convenience, even if it's a temporary death.

[ He hums, no it's not something to be thrown around lightly, but it could be useful in the future. ]
Not for convenience sake, but if you needed to do it to save someone because they'd suffer otherwise...
For that to be viable at all, you'd have to understand how the mechanics of it work, what the variables are.

I suppose there could be instances when it is the lesser evil... if we indeed know that there are no hooks attached, and no higher price to be paid long-term.
I'm still convinced that this revival, however it might work, is actually as safe and reliable as it seems to be. There's always some kind of price for powerful spells.

[ He sighs softly. ]
I'll think about it.

[ He's just speculating as to what could happen when one comes back to life. If it's like being petrified...they'd had no complaints whatsoever, and no drawbacks that were discernable. ]

[ She falls silent, thinking for a moment. ]
This was before we learned anything about the Void or Void Sickness. Maybe he did have show traces of Void interference which we just didn't know to look for at the time. The Doctor examined him with his instruments, I wonder if he still has the recordings.

[ He looks like he's thinking too. ]
The Doctor?

I wish we had more information, but for the moment, we'll have to deal with what we know.
