[ The ICP comes on, broadcasting a message to all from the Library. Two figures stand side by side, one decked in elegant custom garb; the other in utilitarian Purple, with the standard coat that comes with their gear. Ladies and gentlemen, presenting Glorfindel to the left, his smile open and inviting; next to him is Roland, arms crossed against his chest, expression a bit more serious. ]



Greetings, all! For those who are new to the train, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Glorfindel, and this is a brief announcement for those on the Purple Team. And perhaps, for those who may just be interested in what we have to say, colors aside. [ There's a playful lilt at the end of his statement, but he continues with the broadcast. ] You are all cordially invited to the very first Purple Team Mixer, to be held at around Grasshopper 27 in a location to be announced, on the Train.

[ Roland nods and continues where Glorfindel left off. ]

That's right. My name is Roland for our newcomers onboard, and the purpose of this mixer is so we can get to know one another a little bit better. We've got a lot of new additions to the Team, and Glorfindel and I - [ He glances to his side. ] will be acting as two of Purple's Team Leads starting now, as well. We hope to work hard for your continued trust. [ He makes a fist with his right hand and emphasizes his point with a small pump in the air. Glorfindel dovetails after. ]

The mixer is quite simple really! Aside from mingling and gathering as one, we'd also like to discuss various topics of interest such as supplies, mission protocols, training opportunities, and how the two of us can help any one of you, in any way we can.

So it's a mixer and a Purple town hall, if you'd like to look at it from that perspective. If you have ideas on how to improve things, this is the time to come and share your thoughts. We welcome it, and we'll do our best to facilitate everything neatly and concisely so the right steps can be put into place for the betterment of all.

[ Both of them sound like they've done this before...The tone shifts slightly more pleasant now, a little more casually as Glorfindel lights up (not literally, not yet!) ]

Plus, there will be bar snacks. [ 'Bar' meaning yknow. He's trying to be subtle! There are children onboard!! ] Oh, and of course, non-alcoholic beverages too, for those who are underage or can't have alcohol! It's going to be fun, even if we'll be planning alongside the chatting!

[ Roland smiles with a side glance to his new work husband partner, and turns back to close off the broadcast. ]

Glorfindel and I are ready to be of service to the team. Purple is made up of a lot of talented folks, and with our combined efforts, I'm certain we can make our dynamic even better than it already is. We're looking forward to seeing everyone then. [ The two share a look before nodding to the ICP. ]

I don't know if I need to RSVP or anything, but one of my friends suggested I attend this party later? I admit I was interested anyway, but since she asked me, I figured I'd check in... I don't know how much help I'll be for the town hall, but I'd like to come all the same.

Every member of Purple team, new or old, young or...experienced, is welcome to come, no RSVP required.

If you come up with any ideas how to help, you do not have to wait until the town hall, or if you have thoughts, but don't feel like speaking in front of a crowd, you are more than welcome to come to any one of the team leads at anytime.

Exactly. If you want to just party, you're free to do so. Pressure's off, and like he mentioned, Glorfindel and I are going to remain available to everyone even after this whole affair. So, just have fun. Go wild. Heh.

[Itsuki laughs softly.] I don't know about ideas - not off the top of my head, although we might come up with something if we all put our heads together - but I'd feel bad if I went to something that was meant to be business and didn't actually at least try to work. It's habit for me, anyway - and I think we've got a lot to discuss.

Then again, I suppose that if it's meant to be a meet-and-greet kind of thing, maybe socializing is the work...? [Help, she's turning into a stick in the mud again.]

It is part Town Hall, where we discuss issue that are important to the Team, and part social gathering.

[Glorfindel nods in agreement, then tilts his head before turning to look at Roland, briefly, then back to her.]

If you want to help out, how is your note taking? Because with ideas hopefully flowing fast, and the two of us doing the moderating, it might be a good idea to have someone keeping track of those ideas on paper. I am sure Roland would appreciate that a lot?

[Oh, she's in fine company, bunch of sticks, hanging in the mud, here!]

[ No, really! She is. Look at these two, happy about the paperwork and logistics! Though Glorfindel may prove to be the less stiff host at the end of the night. Let's see where that goes! ]

Heh. I wouldn't say no to help, if that's what you're getting at. [ He chuckles before turning back to Itsuki. ] You might be inspired by the actual suggestions offered by other teammates. Regardless, we'd be happy to see fellow Purple's come, even if just to scope out the activities. [ Roland smiles. ]

Well, my note taking's pretty good, so I could certainly help that way, at least for a little bit. But yes, I could use an excuse to meet more people. I definitely don't know everyone on the team. Not even close, really.

Well...This is Glorfindel, and I'm Roland. [ He repeats their introduction to add to the light mood, smiling reassuringly. ] I think you're off to a pretty good start already. I didn't catch your name, though. Care to share?

[ They didn't need to wait for the mixer for introductions, after all! ]

Glorfindel I knew already, we met on the mission underground. But pleased to meet you, Roland. I'm Itsuki.

Well, he is pretty popular. I think it's the baked goods. [ He jokes, Glor! ] In any case, whatever your decision for the party, we're glad to be of service any time, Itsuki. Please approach us for any concerns, even if you don't attend.

Oh, definitely. It's nice to have someone to rely on when things are going strange, although if you'll forgive me, I hope I never have to.
