Following that other one... [video]
If there are any kids- both big and small- who don't want to be alone right now, I'm making hot chocolate and blanket forts in the dining room.
Also, bring a blanket.
Also, bring a blanket.

Creed - OTA; watch the temper
Anyone comes close, he cracks open one eye slowly. He'll keep an eye out for the kids, but if anything comes close to threatening... Well. He's got a reputation for a reason.

He opted for coffee instead of chocolate as he brought a mug over and held it out to Creed, clearing his throat to get his attention. He also had a cup he was sipping from that smelled faintly of alcohol and bust mostly coffee.

Honestly, he's here for the kids, and smells the fear, the uncertainty that is in the air around here. No one knows what's going on. But if anyone tries to get in, they'll be alone with ol' Sabretooth. Not a pleasant place to be.
"Bunch of bullshit." He rumbles after a minute, more into his cup than anything.

So she doesn't go over directly, but she ends up hovering around (not literally) near him as she continues helping set up more blanket forts.

"Darlin', c'mere." He says, holding out a clawed hand to her. He's not her Sabretooth, but he's just as deadly, if not more so.
no subject
"What's up?" she asks softly, trying to keep her tone casual. She makes note of the claws, and while she has no doubt that he's just as dangerous as the Sabretooth she knows, she finds she isn't as afraid of him.
But there's still a part of her that tells her to be careful.

"You need any extra blankets?" He asks. He's sitting on a few, he can spare them to help the kids out.
no subject
"Oh...sure, I think we could use a few more. Thanks."

"Right," she says softly. "Thank you."
She's a little surprised by the sudden urge to hug him - or maybe she just really needed a hug herself - but she isn't sure they were that close yet.
no subject
"Anytime darlin'." He says, gently. If she hugged him, he wouldn't mind.

It just feels...reassuring.

After another long moment, she finally draws back a bit. Not so much to slip out of his hold completely, but just enough to look up at him.
"Thanks."

He cocked his head to the side and watched quietly for a moment before he finally spoke. "Are you alright?"
no subject
"Just waitin'." He says. Waiting for a fight is what he's doing. "Kids doin' alright?"
no subject
If it did, what would he do? What could he do? Maybe he would just take all the kids away. He could move fast when he wanted. Speed them all out of the way and let people like this guy deal with the shadow. That seemed the best option. "It's so bothersome..."
no subject
"Won't get in here." He growls, softly. Please let it try.

He wasn't really afraid, if he was honest. That would require a level of caring about himself that Maru just didn't have. Was he worried? Yeah, he was that. He didn't want his Eve or any of the people he knew as friends to get hurt. But there was no fear in him.
"I don't think it'd dare. Too many people."

"Neither am I." He had once. A long, long, long time ago. But not anymore.

"You always a cat?"
no subject
He sat on the table, legs crossed, blue jacket on and his hood up. The black fur lining looking very much like cat ears. "Guess I'm a vampire... kind of. But I like snacks, not blood... so I wonder sometimes."
