Sooooo, not being able to talk to most of the train that day sucked, huh? I don't know what to think about any of that, but since we can talk to each other now, I was thinking: How about we share where we're from, and see who's from worlds like ours?

And who speaks the same languages too! An actual list be better if that ever happens again, but for now, tell us about the kind of place you're from, what makes home home to you! You got kings or dragons? Machines? Portals to other worlds? Talking sea life? You just trying to get through school?

I'll go first to give you guys an idea, but share whatever you feel like!

[Gremlin alerted Najaran to the post and she looked at it while the small scaly creature hit reply. Unaware of what exactly he had done she turned to the man headed cane that she was holding.]

"I think we are just supposed to talk back to it, like the person in here," [she said, for all to hear. She was still unclear on all the functions of the network. Or you know, any of them.]

"I suppose you may as well try it, Naja," [the cane replied.]

[She nodded.] "Alright, um, My name is Najaran, I'm from Gilman Island where I love with my Master most of the time. This is Goligan. Our world is called Raka and the main continent near the island is Bablashca." [What else to say?] "Um... this kind of feels like reciting a lesson..." [she mumbled to the cane, who told her to get on with it.] "I mean, we have lots of Gods and Goddesses, and most people worship whoever they want but we're all aware of the Great Goddess Culdra even though no one here seems to be... Um... LEt's see, what else. Oh, when the Gods' war broke the Culdcept, Culdra's book of creation it fell as cards, and Cepters can use those cards to summon the things Culdra described. But I know that on other worlds, the pieces of the Culdcept broke into other forms. Um.... Oh! We also have lots of different kinds of yummy foods!"

[The cane looked like he wished he had hands just so he could face palm.] "Not everyone thinks with their stomach, Najaran! I'm sure whoever asked wants to know about important things."

"But yummy food is always important! People die if they don't eat, Goligan!"

"But they also die if they are killed by the Black Cepters."

[Her shoulders sank.] "That's true... but how am I supposed to help stop them if I'm stuck here....?"

[They may have forgotten they have a virtual audience.... ]

[ This is... something of a show. Technically what he asked, though he does feel bad for the girl at the end of there. ]

"Let's hope you can get back and help everyone soon, yeah?" [ He says encouragingly, or hopes so, giving Najaran a smile. ] "And you can talk about the food if you want! What kinds do you eat where you are? You said you're from an island?"

[najaran]

[She jumped a bit at the voice. Oh! Right! There was someone else there. Sorta. Weird magic! But she brightened when he asked about food.]

"A lot of sea food. Soups are good! And all kinds of wonderful yummy fruits and vegetables after market days. And then I was at this one inn in Soron and they made the best lobster!" [She licked her lips, just thinking about it.]

[blitzcheer]

"Oh man, now you've got me thinking about home too!" [ But he says it with humour in his voice. ] "What did they add to the lobster? I haven't had that in ages. We lived out surrounded by the sea too."

[najaran]

"We may have gotten some from the last mission! And I'm not sure, she wouldn't tell me, but it was supper yummy." [She considered, trying to figure out what spices had been used from memory.]

[blitzcheer]

"Ah, that's too bad. Well, the yummy part's what really matters. Not like we can do anything without a lobster! And the mission was all crab, squid..."

[ No lobster, unfortunately. ]

"Does your friend..uhh, them, need to eat?"

[ He's gesturing at the screen, like that might help. The talking...cane... ]

[najaran]

"Which friend?" [She asked, confused.] "Who wouldn't need to eat?"

"Around Najaran, who actually gets to eat?" [Goligan asked dryly. Najaran ignored him, nose in the air slightly.]

[blitzcheer]

[ That gets a small chuckle out of Tidus. ]

"Yo, hiya there. So did you two come here together?" [ he asks the talking staff since...right there! ]

[najaran]

"No," [the staff answered.]

"I arrived without him, but then he showed up later in a trunk with my belt and some cards. It was very odd. I think Gremlin did something when I was trying to shop."

[blitzcheer]

"Huh, that another friend of yours?" [ But now, that makes Tidus wonder, regarding the staff again. ] "Do you remember what happened before you showed up in the trunk? We don't remember how we show up on the platform, right?"

[ That he says to Najaran, a reason for why he asks. Was there anything her woody friend noticed before he was shoved in a trunk? ]

[najaran]

"Yeah, Gremlin has been with me the whole time like Knight and the others!"

[Goligan's mustache curled and reached up to scratch his bald head as he thought] "Last I recall before finding myself in a dark small space I was with Najaran in our own world with her Master."

[Najaran nodded.] "His clothing didn't change, because he doesn't have any, but he and I remember the same last thing before arriving."

[blitzcheer]

"Weird! Well, that's too bad. It'd be great to have some kinda clue how we all get here."

[ Other than the whole walking onto the train willingly part. ]

[najaran]

"And how and why they changed our clothes."

[blitzcheer]

"And what they did with our actual clothes."

[najaran]

"I got my belt back in one of the boxes that had Goligan.... Maybe we'll get the rest back in exchange for points? I'm more concerned about my cards, tough..."

[blitzcheer]

"Cards? You said they summon or something, didn't you? Can you ask for those back too?"

[najaran]

"I got two of them back so far. Not the two I was trying for, but they're useful cards."


"Cards she is not allowed to use," [Goligan put in sharply.]

[blitzcheer]

[ Whoa, someone's card usage is being monitored! ]

"Well, you can keep trying, right? Sounds like I'll have to be careful what I order if it comes back random. But there was nothing wrong with the cards you got back?"

...if she was allowed to check.

[najaran]

"Well they're both Spell Cards so I'm not sure. They look fine though."

[blitzcheer]

"Then I guess, good luck getting the rest of them! And getting more of your friends like gramps there."

[ ...Goligan. He's talking about Goligan. ]

[najaran]

[That mustache bristled as the staff sputtered.]


[Najaran winced, but clearly misunderstood.] "Um... if my Master shows up you probably shouldn't call him that. He might get angry."

[blitzcheer]

[ Get used to it, staff gramps!! But Tidus laughs lightly. ]

"Sure, some people 'round here get huffy about that, huh. Must be a different world thing!"

[ ...he's already had one sour reaction over it, and it wasn't even the guy he was calling gramps! ]

"Well I kind of tried to tell people he was my grandfather when I thought he was doing something he shouldn't and it didn't go over so well... also it turns out he's like super powerful as a leader and not justified as a Cepter."

"Wait, so he's like the leader of where you're from or something? ...and he doesn't like people knowing you're his gramps?"

[ Huh?? Weird? ]

"Oh dear, Najaran..."

[She winced and rubbed the back of her head.] "Ah... Um... well I kind of didn't know he was the leader of that Island place where we were taken, and so I was trying to make an excuse for him so he wouldn't be in trouble. He isn't actual my grandfather. He's my Master."
