Have you ever thought about getting married? {The topic has been on his mind since a certain wedding.} I know you should be in love when you do it, but is it strange to think about it even if you're not?

I'm a Cultivator, so I realize that it isn't likely that I will ever be married - unless I settle down. But it does seem nice and everyone has someone, don't you think?

It is for some families. The nobles, mostly. I don't know how they make their peace with it.

It'd be something they grew up. And it doesn't mean love can't be found, only that it needs to be worked on. It's a complicated topic, I know that much at least.

Anyway, what's a golden core? You mean something along the lines of psychic power, right?

I hope no one ends up with someone selfish and stubborn in that case. They would be hard to love.

It's the source of a Cultivator's power. It's more...magic? We use our cores for spells and talismans. We also use them to heal.

Hard, but not impossible. It just means more work in the end, and even if it's not romantic love that comes to the marriage, love is still love at the end of the day.
