[Duo gives a slightly lopsided, almost nervous looking smile. He lifts one hand in a brief wave and then sighs.]

Look, this is gonna sound dumb. But does anyone have a hair tie? Even a ribbon?

[He holds up the remains of his hair tie, clearly snapped into two pieces and gives another sad sigh.]

That's a bad sign... Damn thing flew across the room!

Uh yeah, if anyone can stop by cabin A in sleeper 4 with something I can tie my hair with, you'll have a bestfriend for life!

How do you manage to snap them?

Uhm... I have really thick hair? And I guess I'm a bit heavy handed with them...? Maybe? I dunno!

If you have thick hair, I can always show you how to put them on without breaking or find a good substitute.

Hah yeah you could do that. I'm getting a few options to try, lots of things I've not used before. I'm thinking they could be helpful.

Just try them all and see which works best for you. In my case, I might have to do a different way than you because of how much I have.

It's very nice hair though. Though have you ever thought about cutting it? If it gets really bad?

Cutting it? ... My hair? [Looks genuinely shocked by the idea, and quickly shakes his head]

I trim the split ends every month, but actually cutting it off. No way.

Is there a special reason why? I mean by not cutting it at all you'd end up with hair length like mine.

[She assumes trimming means only taking a tiny bit off.]

I cut to maintain it and it's length so it doesn't get outta hand. But cutting it off? ... I guess there's no real special reason.
