Hullo Everyone! I'm the Doctor and It's come to my attention I was nominated for the train's council and I am very flattered but I have to be honest-politics is not my favorite thing-I could go into why but I'm hoping all those reasons don't apply here. So what why not?

So this is me-throwing my hat-probably a fez-fezzes are cool-into the ring for Council Member.

As for why you should vote for me well.. I have about 1600 years worth of experience traveling through Time and Space. I have seen quite a lot and have experience in helping all sorts of species, I can speak any language-well, for the most part-and I'm familiar with most cultures. I won't say all because even I'm still learning but that's also an important bit, I think. Being able to admit you don't know everything.

Some people who've met me will probably tell you I do actually know everything but those that know me better know the truth.

Still interested in getting to know you all-still happy to take over as a primary school teacher here and to volunteer my time to the medic car if needed-I'm also quite a good listener should anyone want to just vent. My door is always open.

So far, outta everyone who's made one of these things, you'd get my vote. Just because you talk about what you'd do for us. Looking after school learning, the medical side of things, sayin you'll be there for people. Those are important things. Being able to listen to those people. That's the most important thing.

I must say I agree with Duo. Hearing what you can and will do for the benefit of the train as a whole is a positive for me. I've never voted before, I'm not honestly sure if I'm old enough to, but I'll vote for you.

1600 is pretty impressive for a human, but flush of youth for an elf. Could I get some context for your Race?

I agree that admitting you don't know everything is an important step in life. Even Wizards don't try to claim they know everything. Except for Saruman, and that didn't end well for him.

Well, you just make sure that things in time that are always supposed to happen-do happen. I'm particularly sensitive to those events so it's easy for me to pick them out. Although it has happened on a occasion that things don't pan out exactly how they're written in the history books-but who's keeping score, eh?

Why does everyone have to assume humans were first? They weren't. I'm a Timelord-not a human. It's sort of our job to live long lives-or it was. Bit hard to do my job while stuck in the void-A place that's usually unaffected by time.

Well yes, you might have a point there but I can't be around to correct them all the time. I'm only 1800. Besides, you know humans, they only believe what they want-and very rarely is that actually the truth.

[Glorfindel chuckles.] I do know humans. But you still have Time, it seems. When I was your age, we were in the midst of the first war with Sauron, forging the First Alliance. Which ended when a human chose to keep the Ring rather than destroy it. [He sighs.]

Forgive me, I did not mean to imply I believed humans were first or that you were human; just that my experience with long lived species involved more obvious visual differences between species.

[ Her tone was apologetic, to an almost practiced degree. ]

But it's true I believe in rational, non-violent discussion. I've learned by experience that most problems can be solved if everybody is willing to listen with an open mind and think up ways to take action that will benefit everyone.
