Video: Congratulations Nominees

Thank you for those who participated in sending in your nominations for train council. Dread and I have tallied the numbers and are ready to present to you the list that will appear on the election ballot in the next several days.

Please congratulate the following:

Bucky, Conan, Curufin, Dread, Eva, Evie, Feanor, Ignis, Kaiba, Lightning, Luke, Nerdanel, Nita, Raven, Reigen, Sarai, The Doctor, Yuffie and myself.

"Right, so the people we're talking about are people. Just people. They may have infiltrated everything and have been trained well, but they're in for a shock too when or if they show up here and find out they're vulnerable to magic." It was something he was still recovering from. His suit had been hindered on a number of these missions.

"In the end, this is up to you. We will find a way to get a cure for this, but only if you're okay with it. We can try screening everyone on the train if you can thing of anything we should be looking for and we can help you always have something to defend yourself with. So what do you want to do?"

These days Gin loomed so large in Conan's mind and memories that it was difficult to think of the organization as just anything.

"Or they show up here and immediately figure out how to take advantage of it." He had to think of the worst case scenario."

A frown, as he thought over what Tony I was asking. It was a risk. Even here on the train. But...

"It's safer for me to stay as a child. But I can't keep living like this. I want my life back, if there's even the smallest chance of it."

He wanted to be able to be called by his own name. To go back to living his own life.

"You've lived long enough in fear, kid. Peter may seem like an idiot at times, but he's damn good when he's needed. You've very powerful friends here and no one is going to hurt you while I'm alive. I give you my word." As a teenager or a child, Conan was important to Tony. He knew the boy often rolled his eyes at him and questioned his maturity, but he was someone he could count on.

"Be patient. This isn't going to be something we figure out over night. No one else is going to be told what's going on unless absolutely necessary and then with your permission."

Even with everything Tony was saying, it was going to take time for Conan to believe in it. Hope wasn't a thing he had much practice with anymore.

"It's been a year," Conan says at last. "I don't have any expectation that I will have a cure any time soon." The apotoxin had never been meant to be reversed after all.

But doing something was still better than the despair of doing nothing.
