Video: Requesting Nominees
Good afternoon, Voidtreckers. For those who don't know me, I'm Tony Stark and the moderator of the train council. We've decided that it's time for another election. Our numbers have grown exponentially here and there have been several changes in leadership do to people disappearing or leaving.
During this time, I'm asking for nominations for council members. We're still deciding whether the new council shall have nine or eleven members, so if I could get everyone to offer up to ten nominees it'd be most helpful. Also if you're nominated and you specific do not want to be on the council, please also let me know.
One last point, this isn't to be confused with team leaders. The council is the governing board of the train made up of voted in representatives regardless of team colors. The team leaders are who you go to if you have any problems and who is responsible for keeping everyone safe during missions.
Any questions?

[He shook his head.]
I don't see that having overlap is a problem. There are some people, like myself, who have interest and skills that lend themselves to both situations. There are some who do not.
[He hadn't thought about this idea, but nods after a second to consider it.]
This is a good idea. Once we've reduced the number of candidates to maybe twenty, we can then have people interview them or campaign or whatever they'd like to do for the final election.
In the meantime, I'd encourage you and others, like your friend, to select the other nominees they want to see on the ballot not just make one selection. Does this make sense?

And I don't have many in mind who haven't already been named, but I'd like The Doctor to get another look.
Of the already-named, if you want to know who I support: I'd prefer to let them be heard first. I have yet to interact with most of the nominees, aside from watching the occasional ICP broadcast. Most of you have a wide network of responsibilities and social connections compared to those of us who are newer, so that's understandable. But it doesn't leave us in an informed position to vote.

I suggest you take this time to talk to those already in power and listen to those who have been here longer. Don't take their opinions blindly, of course, but it might help you get a good starting point once we have our selected nominees.

And Kaiba? I hope I see your name on there.
