video; a blood cultist's apology and offer
[A teenage girl with red eyes and sharp teeth is on the screen. Behind her, one of the washing machines can be seen with laundry soap suds spilling out of it and onto the floor. She looks both troubled and apologetic.
It's pretty bad, too, the suds're spilling into nearby cars.]
I am sending this for several reasons.
Firstly, I am Merciless and I wish to apologize for my errors that caused the state of affairs you can see. I carefully observed another person using the machine so I could perform my duty properly. However, I believe my error laid in the amount of soap I used or at least it was the primary difference between our actions. I used considerably more than the other person with the intention of getting the clothes more clean.
As you can see, that was a mistake and I extend my apologies. I shall do my utmost to clean this up, although I would greatly appreciate it if someone showed me how. This event has eroded my confidence in my ability to do such tasks without guidance.
[She sighs.]
Secondly, after I clean this up, I will be offering my services as a priestess. I am far more capable at that. I have had intensive training in it, wherefore I have not had any training in doing laundry. I can bless objects including fluids and perform ceremonies such as weddings and funerals. I can also perform rituals such as preservation from decay, tracking by blood, or warding against an enemy. However, any ceremonies I perform will have to be adjusted to a more generalized form, as I do not believe there are any here who worship the gods of my people.
Speaking of, thirdly I wish to hear about your gods. What gods do you have?

[Gods are so complicated, why do they have to exist.]

Goku is the one that truly caught Beerus's eye. He's an exceptionally powerful warrior who continues to train and strive for more power just to push himself past his limits. He's an inspiration to anyone who has every known him. Beerus's attendant trains both Goku and Vegeta--the prince, not the destroyed planet his father once ruled--now that they've achieved a state called 'Super Saiyan God'.
[If he goes on any longer this could turn into a martial arts lesson all its own; so he'll just stop there and let her digest, come up with any further questions if she wants him to go on.]

Tell me of the prince!
[Yes, that was her takeaway. Princes from destroyed planets were cool, okay?]

Fine.]
Vegeta worked for a warlord called Freiza when we all first met him. He was an evil hearted brat that only wanted to claim the Dragon Balls for his own selfish purposes and rule the galaxy. Goku defeated him in the end and sent Vegeta packing.
He showed up again on planet Namek where both him and Frieza were out to gather their Dragon Balls for selfish purposes. My friends were also there to gather the Dragon Balls and make a wish of their own. They managed to swipe the Dragon Balls out from the evil warlord's clutches and trick Vegeta at the same time, used the Dragon Balls to bring me back to life and get me to Namek so I could fight alongside them.
[Wait, he got sidetracked. He cleared his throat.]
Anyway, to make a long story short: Vegeta somehow ended up an ally and now lives on Earth with the only other last remaining Saiyan. He's still a huge dick but at least he's not entirely evil anymore.
Was there something else you wanted to ask about?
[Piccolo wasn't even certain how this story got to where it was at this point but for the love of his former title please chose something other than Vegeta to talk about.]

Tell me about yourself.

But I can tell you about Piccolo's memories. I retain all of those, and some of Kami's come to me now and again.
I remember being born after my father, the Demon King Piccolo, was defeated in battle with a young Goku. I was still the evil half and with his death as my first and foremost memories from reincarnation the most vivid in my mind, all I wanted was revenge and to fulfill his goal of world domination.
To achieve the former I entered a martial arts tournament I knew Goku wouldn't miss so he was easy to find and defeating him in front of a large audience would cement my reputation and bring fear to the human race when I went on to conquer the world.
Yeah, that never happened. Goku got lucky, again.
I did eventually get my revenge but it didn't really mean much by then--Goku died but it wasn't in the name of my revenge. He sacrificed himself to hold a stronger opponent in place just long enough so I could hit him with my strongest attack. They both died from it.
Goku went on to train in the Other World while I took his son and trained him to fight in the hopes that we could defeat the powerful Saiyans that were headed to Earth after finding out about the Dragon Balls. I thought I could use the brat to defeat them and then take over the world as I always intended. But...things changed with time. Gohan...became my friend. The only one I ever had. And I realized that was more important than petty revenge or conquering the world. When his life was in danger, I sacrificed my life to save his.
[There was a noticeable pause here. The memories were important to Piccolo and though he hid it well, retelling it was a bit emotional. He continued soon enough.]
That's where the tale collides with the previous one--after Goku was brought back to life he defeated the Saiyan Prince, Vegeta, who escaped off into space after losing. Gohan, Krillin, and Bulma went to Namek where they encountered new enemies after the Namekian Dragon Balls but they managed to summon the dragon and make wishes before the enemies managed it. That's when I was brought back to life and brought to planet Namek to fight alongside the others. Eventually we defeated Frieza--well, Goku did--and returned to Earth.
Then there was the Androids... and Buu... we fight a lot of threats to Earth, I guess. Hmm. After we encountered the God of Destruction we participated in more tournaments with the other universes. I suppose that's the highlights of my life so far.
I tend to keep to myself otherwise, staying in remote areas to train and become a more powerful martial artist. It's peaceful and easier than dealing with humans all the time. [In other words, everything else about him is rather boring for a story. He ends up stopping there. He's probably talked too much already as it is.]
