Oh, and if any of this "bucket challenge" is done in an area where it isn't wise to have water end up everywhere, you will be responsible for cleaning it up.

[ Why does it feel like he's being scolded despite not having done anything wrong! Something about Luke's attitude is almost enough to just make him say 'yes, dad'.. ]

I mean.. I'm sure you have the best intentions, but I think they do too! I think they're trying to do something good in their own way.

Best of intentions or not, you don't need to cause a mess or worse to encourage others to do good things.

You could just... do good things.

I don't mean to be rude. [ .. granted, he's only bothering to add that since Luke is a team way too young dad lead. Mostly. ] But it is possible to combine fun things and good things. Surely cleaning up a bit of water is worth it when it keeps people's spirits up.

But.. I mean, I guess I'll do it if no one else will.. [ He won't like it. But he wasn't kidding that it's a small sacrifice in the face of keeping the people here happy and having fun. ]
