Does anyone know where I can locate some scissors? Also, has anyone attempted to deconstruct one of these information points?

What do you need them for? Are you trying to do something with these.. 'information points' as you call them using those?

I was going to take the collars off the polo shirts, but now I'll just get different shirts from Charlotte.

I want to see how they work to see if I can learn anything about why we are brought here and how we are chosen.

[ Taking off the collars? She's not too sure why, but on the other hand, it doesn't feel as important as the other thing he says. ]

Do you truly believe those things hold any answers? Judging by how varied of a group the people aboard this train seem, it seems to be more random than anything else as to how the train picks people to draw in.

They seem the best source of answers at the moment. Perhaps if nothing else, I'll annoy the quasi-sentient train and get some sort of punishment because of it. That would also be educational.

I'm not sure how much educational value it'd have compared to how much it might hurt you, either in the long or the short run. Unless you like being punished.

I do not enjoy pain, but there are times when it is necessary for the populace at large. If I can learn something useful to the train at large, the cost is negligent.

Funny. Usually when people say sacrifices have to be made, they mean "by someone else." You may be the first person I've ever seen throw themselves so recklessly into danger instead.

[ Don't even pretend you aren't kind of like that too, Alice. ]

I've put my life on the line for lesser things than this. I'm used to it.

[ She stares for a moment before just asking very plainly and bluntly: ]

Do you have some sort of death wish?

Not at all. My life has just not ever mattered in a sense that most would consider valuable.

[irrationally]

Not even to yourself?

[ She gets people's lives not mattering to other people, which is why she doesn't sound surprised. Hers never did either. Lots of people don't have anyone who cares about them. But that doesn't just make anyone reckless either. ]

It's possible my life matters to my sister. But as a lifelong soldier, no.

[irrationally]

[ Alice clicks her tongue. ]

At least think of your sister then. What would she say if you got hurt?

[ She probably shouldn't argue about this. It's not her business at all. But the mention of a sister just hits a little bit too close to home for her, so the words slip out before she's even thought about them. ]

[Trowa smiles at the memory of when he attempted self detonation.]

She'd punch me, first.

Well, then just imagine her punching you whenever you do something stupid in this place. If that's enough to keep you from doing said stupid things. [ Somehow she feels like it's not enough... ]
