Nebula 17- Video

[Given the darkness out the window, it's pretty late when this is recorded, and seems to be being done from the Standard Car. Lea sits with a mug of tea in hand, looking thoughtful.]

So... I guess maybe I should actually post one of these. Don't know how many people look at them, or even if that matters. It's... Nebula 17th, I think? The day after the second platform day in the month. For those who don't know, my name's Lea. Blue team, in case the shirt wasn't enough of a clue.

I guess... this is kind of a message to the Voidtrecker's original crew more than anything else, since I figure if we do manage to find you guys, it won't need us any more, and we'll all be sent home. [He takes a sip of his tea, then gives a slight, wry chuckle.] Heh... Figures the only time anyone'd pick me to be part of their hero team is if they're desperate.

Anyway... I guess maybe I should fill you guys in a bit huh? See, after... everything that happened, and whatever it was you guys did to try and fix it, the train started pulling a bunch of people here from a bunch of different worlds, seemingly randomly. And none of our worlds are what you guys'd call 'Void Active'. Some of us have been yanked through the multi-verse before, some of us haven't, but for all of us, randomly showing up on a platform in a color-coded hoodie was the first any of us had ever heard of the Void as you guys know it.

Every two weeks or so, there's another platform, with more random people standing on it who have no idea what the heck happened for them to wind up there. And every platform, some people leave the train too. Just... walk off, staring straight ahead like zombies or something- and not responding to anyone or anything- and leave through the barrier no one else can get through. We're generally assuming they get sent back to their worlds, but... we don't know for 100% sure, and neither does the train. This seems to happen pretty much at random too.

In between, the train still takes us to different worlds for missions. I think we've done pretty well so far, even if things do get pretty rough from time to time. The only time we've failed a mission is... well, it was before I was brought on board, but it involved those creepy... dark things. From what I'm told they pretty much wiped out all life on that world. The train seems terrified of them, with good reason, and we're looking into the threat. I think maybe the Void Ministry might be now too; or at least that they're aware of them. Kinda hard with no survivors though...

And speaking of the Void Ministry, they're a whole thing. [Takes another sip of tea.] The few people who we've actually met who work for them seem pretty cool, but we've got good reason to believe that they're none too happy about what's going on. Given some information we've come across, we're pretty sure they think the Voidtrecker's some kind of ghost-train or something, and that we're all criminals or brainwashed. Or at least that they guys in charge of them do, and ultimately, they'd be the ones I'm worried about. Not your average 'guy on the street' ministry worker, but the ones who might stand to lose a whole lot if the status quo gets shaken up...

But I dunno. If you're one of the Voidtrecker's original crew seeing this, this has probably all been resolved by this point anyway, and all of us are probably long gone. Just... know that we're doing the best we can here, I guess. We're not pros at this like you guys are and sometimes I wonder if half of us even have a clue what we're doing. I know I don't feel like I do half the time.

But... well from what little we've seen, you guys thought of the train as a friend. In case you ever wondered if the feeling was mutual? It is. The train really misses you guys. And... I for one am gonna do what I can to help make sure everyone, including you guys, gets back where they belong. Got it memorized?

...And I guess that's it. Don't know when I'll do another one of these again, so for now, Lea out.
