Beetroot, day 5, voice
We’re a couple of hours from a mission on home turf. It happens now and again but not on my run as a Voidtrecker. Emotions are running high, most here have family in the space force and they are obviously worried since we got the call. A robot army large enough them to recall us, it is worrying.
My elder sister is in the space force. She’s a good pilot. I worry for her but I know she worried about me in return. I’m on the first strike force, we’ll use the spare fighter ships and help the main front.
It’s just any other mission. But it feels as if the stakes are higher, when it’s your own system. Just another mission. We’ve got this.
Look forward to my victory report in a week.
