And, more suspiciously, there is a bottle of alcohol sitting at his side.
It seems to be half-empty.
He observes his communicator and then rearranges the odds and ends as if that makes some sort of weird...sense. Of course it doesn't. Why would some string go into a vase anyway?}

Yes, it is how Night Hunts will be. There will always be uncertainty and enemies you didn't expect. But you are well-trained, and you are smart. As long as you listen to your elders and act wisely, I know you can handle all dangers, both in Night Hunts and here on the train.

Of course you wouldn't run. You are far too brave to run from danger, or leave behind those who need your protection. You are better than that. It makes you a good leader, and most of all a good man.
