Morning: Day 17 - Audio from the Kitchen

Let's play a game, because I'm bored.

[ This voice comes with music playing in the background. Nothing too exciting. Just some MISSIO. And there might be a faint tapping sound, rhythmic and following the beat of the song. Gwen has a couple of the pans from the kitchen upside down, for anyone in the kitchen with her, and she's drumming along. ]

The game we're going to play is called Two Truths and a Lie. And the rules are just that.

Tell two truths, one lie. People have to guess which is which and you tell them if they're right or not.


I'll start.

1: Ben and Jerry's Chubby Hubby is my favorite kind of ice cream.
2: I love my brothers.
3: I don't like cats.

[ More drumming, and a bit of singing along as she plays. ]

Those aren't very interesting. They all seem like they could be true or not too. I think 3 is a lie because that sounds harder than the other two.

[Ouch.] Right and wrong. It is the second one, but it's because my best friend was actually a former boxman, not a boxer. Though... not as good at it as me.

I was kind of a thief before, in my spare time.

I have no idea what Wutai is like nor what a ninja is.

Thief is such a negative word. I borrow! And sometimes forget to give it back.

[Yuffie has a very special view of the world.]

Wutai is where I am from. It is the best place ever and Ninja's are awesome. It's a form of fighting I've learned since I was a child.

I've always been pretty awesome.

I figured that. I've just never heard of it or what makes it "the best place ever." I suppose you ought to be good at the ninja part then if you were trained from a kid.

[Not gonna touch the rest of that with a ten foot pole.]

Well you should visit if you ever can. It's a village of proud and strong warriors. It's at the center of Gaia.

Not really. It's a pretty peaceful place, unless someone messes with us.

It's the most beautiful place in the world.

Maybe someone around will figure out interdimensional travel and I can make it there someday. [Still gonna steal something, even if it's just food and a souvenir.] Or force the train to head there.

No one would blame you for that. No one asked to be here. I'm sure it'd be one stop of many on the way to several people's homes if it could ever be achieved. [He's not holding his breath.]

Because not everyone can steal or trade for what they need, I guess.

Though the world would be a nicer place if they could.

That depends on how people decided to take. [He knew a Guardsmen that took what he wanted...by force. Not a nice way to take things. Garrett, at least, did no permanent damage to people.]
