Good morning passengers. Just a few announcements now that everyone has had a chance to get settled in.

I have a questionnaire I'm asking everyone on board to complete. The goal is to find patterns between our situations in order to determine why we're being taken and brought here. These are confidential, only I will be reading them and I'll not share anything private on them. For those who have already filled these out I've added two questions, so please add these to your original answers- yes, you too Peter!

If anyone sees or hears anything that might give us information about the disappearance of one of our passengers, Gwen, please let me know.

Lastly, yes we have a giant spider living on our train now. She's promised not to hurt anyone and therefore, has our protection as well.

Any other issues or problems that are important let me know. Any issues or problems that are stupid, please bother my intern Peter or use your brain.

[Added Later for Charlotte. Since he doesn't know where she is, this goes out to everyone. The kitchen (for those with heightened senses or nearby) smells sweet and delicious.]

What exactly do you intend to do with all that information?

[Yes, he can read. He's just not very keen on believing the reasons given. Especially that once filled the forms would are to be secret and only Tony will have access to them.]

Those are very specific questions and I believe that I, that we all, deserve more than one sentence of explanation.

If we can better understand why we were the ones selected to be taken from our home worlds and times then there's a better chance we can find a way to reverse it. I haven't found a pattern just yet, but the reason it's so specific is because that's how data is most effective- with precision.

For instance, there's a few people who would have been dead in their current time if they hadn't been taken at the exact moment they were. Other people seem to have been doing nothing of import at all. We have ages running the range of.. well.. a single year? (Really?- to himself) To.. well however old you are.

[He shrugs.]

I admit, I don't know which of these questions are going to be helpful and which aren't. But, truly, the intent is for data and not me learning everyone's crap.

[That is ... a surprisingly reasonable explanation. He wouldn't find fault in it even if he wanted. There is more information given on the process than he would himself be willing to share. That is either cunning or just simply honest. Feanor hasn't decided yet which option he's willing to believe more.]
