A magical force? [He grinned] That sounds good sir! Did you do lots of fighting back where you are from?

Yes. Cultivators are trained to fight - usually from a young age. I have my sword with me too.

Someone who is trained to deal with spirits and monsters. We use our swords, talismans and the Lan Sect uses guqins.

To deal with? Do you fight spirits? [Wide eyes look through the screen.] Just bad ones though?

When they are violent. {He softens immediately.} I wouldn't hurt you.

Oh. [That's a relief!] Like ayakashi? They are bad. We fight them too!

I don't recognize that name? {But if it means vengeful spirit, he agrees.}

They are monsters and bad spirits! They want to ruin humans days and they like eating gods and their shinki! We got to fight to stop them from making everything bad!

But I've not seen any here! So that's good!

I would definitely stand against ayakashi in that case. {Anything that can eat a god must be powerful.} Your battles must be difficult.

I'm glad. {But...} We might come across them on a new world. We should be vigilant.

They are sometimes scary but it is so important! Because we got to save all the people.

That is what Cultivators try to do. Those who cannot fight spirits and monsters, we protect.
