[It's about an hour after the messages from Curufin and his mother. Your self-proclaimed leader is ready to 'lead' at you.]

Alright, we all heard the warning. Team leads, check in with your teammates both new ones and those who have been here awhile. We need people to volunteer making packs like the last mission for rations and supplies for everyone. Those with first-aid training should offer refresher courses or introduction demonstrations as we have some new people on board.

What kind of abilities and powers do we have on board that could assist with people who might be freezing? We need to brainstorm quick ways to make either potions or devices that we can give or use to prevent hypothermia.

They never give us much time with these things, so let's get on this.

[Second message not too long after the first.]

If anyone with a taser used it last mission and needs it fixed, let me know. If you'd like a taser, also let me know. These are specifically for those who aren't accustomed to fighting.

[ Luke paused, squirming awkwardly, before glancing away. ]

Just a feeling.

[ His tone was just oh so innocent. Don't you believe him, Tony? ]

[Oh give him a break. He's so eye rolling at you.]

We just had two others announce they have visions. Are you going to get all embarrass over the fact you have them too?

[ Luke let out a strangled noise, like he honestly thought Tony would let him get away with blatantly lying. ]

It's not that, I just...

[ he paused a moment, glancing away from the screen again, though this time his face was screwed up in annoyance. ]

I hate having them. They remind me of the Emperor.

[He looked slightly apologetic- only slightly- when Luke said it wasn't the reason Tony was guessing.]

I see. Well.. you can fill me in on that some other time if you're up for it.

[No more pushing for at least like, 3 minutes.]

[ Luke nodded, before folding his arms over his chest, like he was protecting himself. ]

...it's not a conversation I want to have publicly.

[ It's almost like he could sense Tony was going to try to wheedle it out of him anyway. ]

I understand.

[That part he really did get it.]

Where are you?

The gym.

[ He needed to make sure he was prepared, after all. ]

[He heads into the gym not too long after being told where Luke is.]

You okay? I didn't realize this was something bigger than you were embarrassed about visions.

[That was as close as he might come to apologizing. Unless Luke still looks sad/ upset about it. He might brave those specific words for the kid.]

[ Luke had been in the middle of training, if you could call the beat down he was giving the dummy training. He didn't pause when Tony started talking, though he did acknowledge him with a glance. ]

[ He let out a faint grunt as he landed one more hit on the dummy, before turning around and nearly flopping against it. ]

It's okay. I should have been more candid. Not just with you, but... everyone.

[ He let out a faint breath, shaking his head. ]

There was a battle at the Kuat Drive Yards. It would take some time to explain, so I'll just say for now that my father and I were successful. In the meeting with the Emperor that followed...

[ Luke frowned bitterly, staring down at his feet, scuffing at the floor. ]

[Tony knew what that kind of 'training' meant. He'd done it often on board when someone or something drove him particularly crazy. There was only so much anyone could take before erupting and these dummies he'd made were a great option.

Seeing that look on Luke's face had him sighing. He felt bad for the kid, though he didn't know exactly what happened with this incident.]

Got your practice swords or want to go hand to hand?

[He slipped his hoodie off and tossed it to one side. Underneath he was wearing a black tank.]

What did the Emperor do?

[ Luke pushed himself up a moment, glancing over at Tony, before he held his hand out. One of the practice swords he whittled came flying toward his hand, as the other one went toward Tony. He took a moment to reacquaint himself with the feel of it, taking a few practice swings. ]

He tried to say he gave rise to my father using the Force. He tried to appeal to my loyalty to my family by claiming himself my grandfather.

[Tony echoed Luke's movements, getting adjusted to the blade. However, he struck as soon as he was whether Luke was ready or not. His hit was hard against the other sword, a reaction of disgust from what he was hearing.]

That is really gross. No wonder you're upset about it.

[ Luke was midway through another practice swing, when he reversed his grip, blocking Tony's attack like he had seen it coming from a mile away. ]

I don't know how true it is. I don't know if it's even possible to use the Force to create another living being.

But since he told me, I've been able to see things. Sometimes it's in visions, other times I can see the possibilities before they happen, like a divided path.

[ And the implication scares the hell out of him. After all, the power that Palpatine brags about the most is his foresight... ]

[Tony wasn't too surprised he was outmatched by Luke as far as swordsmanship, but he could at least be useful (he hoped) to help the young man get some steam off.]

I've never heard of something like that either, though obviously my knowledge is fairly limited. Does it sound like something that would be possible? What does your gut tell you when you hear something like that?
