[The video opens with very excited Quatre, quite clearly trying to keep from bouncing excitedly]

Fellow passengers of the train, good morning! I made a request for an item and I wasn't actually sure if I'd get it or what it would be if I did, but...

[And he shows off what arrived for him... which just basically looks like a large box]

It is mobile suit cockpit simulator! So it's like piloting a mobile suit without actually piloting one!

[He very briefly showed off the inside of it, which looked like a cockpit]

Once I get it to the games carriage, I'm going to take a look at the options already programmed and add as many as I remember. It'll be available for anyone to try out. Also if you have one that would be piloted like that, I can try to add yours.

Action
Quatre can either be found in the luggage carriage, trying to figure out to move this very large object... or he can be found in the games carriage once it has been moved, checking what has already been programmed into the system.

I'm not sure we can use those definitions here on the train. [Heck, look at the wide variety of people. Shapes and sizes and even colors like green?]

[Quatre chuckled at that] Very true. Very true. Just in terms of my home world, technically I am not

So -- did your world make those colonies, then? They didn't come from somewhere else?

[And if so, how did they get all the materials? The Lunarians lost their own planet, but had enough to make a moon-sized spaceship because of that...]

We did. Previous generations built the colonies. My family contributed a fair amount to them.

[onehandsomeslickninja]

I think I understand now.

[But then, Edge just laughs.]

Well, I'm sure I don't, but now I know I don't! There's always something new and different I never expected!

[gundamofthedesert]

[He chuckled at that] Yes, at least you know now. That's half the battle: figuring out what you don't know. But you've learned a little more about it.

[onehandsomeslickninja]

Right. Now I need to figure out what else I don't know so I can start figuring that out!

[gundamofthedesert]

I'm still figuring that out too. I think a lot of people on the train are.

Of course, considering twice a month a host of people arrive, with new tales and new worlds that none of us would have imagined before. I envy the people who know someone from before, here. Having a person who shares your world and understands it must be nice.

[gundamofthedesert]

[He nodded] I used to have two friends from home. They have since gone home so it is just me now.

[onehandsomeslickninja]

There is always that here. New friend or old, separations seem inevitable.

[gundamofthedesert]

That is true. It is very hard. So many people come and go and we have little choice in the matter.

[onehandsomeslickninja]

It's difficult to not become jaded. [A thoughtful comment, as the conversation makes Edge realize he's doing exactly that. Not a good sign, nor a path he wants to travel down.]

[gundamofthedesert]

It is. [He sighed] Unfortunately there is not much that we can do. The train is the one that decides who comes and goes and when.

[onehandsomeslickninja]

If even that. The lack of warning itself is appalling!

[gundamofthedesert]

Yeah. I know there are many here who at least wish they had been able to say goodbye.

[onehandsomeslickninja]

That's not something you get even in normal life, though. Maybe if you're lucky, but it's nothing you can count on.

[gundamofthedesert]

[Quatre was quiet as he nodded] It is true. I have seen so many people who will never get the chance to say one more thing to their families. I have known a few as well.

[onehandsomeslickninja]

Families, friends, and simply those you know. It's an unfortunate truth indeed.

[gundamofthedesert]

[He nodded] That has happened to you as well?

[onehandsomeslickninja]

Our world came out of its own war not long ago, as it happens. The smallest and most isolated towns, those with no power, were spared, but if a man or woman in one of the kingdoms didn't lose someone, I'd eat my scarf.

[gundamofthedesert]

I see. I'm sorry to hear that. It is sad that this has to happen.

[onehandsomeslickninja]

Well! Whatever the case may be, Eblan acquitted itself well! We may have been beaten, but never broken, and there's little more a king can ask for than a people so brave and true!

[Quatre smiled faintly at that] Good that your people weren't broken by the war. It is hard, but I know anyone would be proud of having brave fighters.
