Hey guys! [ As soon as the video feed cuts in, so does Tidus's voice, a smile and a hand raised to the screen. He's by one of the tables, breaking the 'be quiet' rule of all library spaces for a good reason - the reason which is spread out on a table, showing a selection of bottles, equipment, and even plants - one of which glows a soft gold. ]

Welcome to the newbies! I wanted to talk some about the healing we've got for people to take when they need it - plus, there's some making I was thinking some of you might be interested in - these!

[ He's grabbing a small pouch, removing the contents, and bringing a view of small green sweets sitting on his palm. ]

They're candies made from the plants we've got here. [ He nods back, and still in view is the golden plant, as well as less glowy variant. ] We've got a bunch growing, and they can be made into salves too - they're from Roland's world, and he got a book that tells you how to make them! But-

[ But- Tidus chuckles. ]

Well I've never made them before, and Roland hasn't either! Sooo... I was figuring we've got enough people here who're good at making with herbs and in the kitchen - how about we figure it out? Give people more options for healing. Then we don't have to pay for 'em. [ Heheh! ]

There's plenty of the plants in the greenhouse if you wanna try on your own - thanks, Persephone! - and the book on them's in the library. I'm gonna put some of these [ he holds the sweets back up, while also putting them back in the bag ] into the supply locker, so you can check them out. Try making them whenever you want!

[ He can't figure out the tie right now, or it's just a little too distracting. But Tidus is quiet, before he looks up from the pouch to the screen, and then to the side. His tone shifts. ]

And... if you ever worry about taking supplies when other people need them, don't, okay? Carry them with you. If you need to know how they work or just wanna ask about them, you can. And you can ask people to buy what works where you're from too. A bunch of the potions we have - they saved me more times than I can count back home. And I know Trunks swears by senzu beans.

So - yeah. [ He pulls a smile, small as it's turned. ] Drop by the library if you want! I've got an alphabet to count 'til it sticks.

[ Heh. ]

[ It's not that simple. They have a number of people who do not eat certain types of food. Ingredients need to be listed. Dosage amounts, how to replenish should someone choose to, side effects, limitations.... Even where and how the item should be stored.

Thanatos gives a small sigh. ]

I will be there shortly.

[ Shortly being a few moments as he shifts into the library car. ]

[ sure sounds like a whole lot of work that Tidus doesn't focus on!! ]

Okay! [ But Tidus is cheery, optimistic all the same, watching as the feed shuts off. Obliviously turning around without any expectations, since shortly to any carriage usually means five minutes or so, even with the transgates.

--but then there's a shape, and Tidus startles, a small 'whuh!' and a hand coming to his chest. ]

Eesh! Where'd you come from! Gotta give a guy a warning.

[ These teleport anywhere types...!!! ]

... Death approaches?

[ That makes his entire entrance better, right? No. He shouldn't be shifting into a library car. ]

Funn...ny?

[ Tidus has to take a moment, wondering if it sounds more like a warning of a different kind... but he isn't about to make things awkward, shaking his head. It's okay, it's cool! Back to where they're here. ]

Well, you're here. [ And that's what matters. Tidus nods to the table, walking to one of the seats. ]

Okay, lemme chat to you about what we've got! Unless you wanna go first? Did you get anything new?

[ He sits like a proper person, with one leg and foot tucked under him. As you do. At an angle, he doesn't put his legs beneath the table but to a side. ]

[ Death Incarnate has a very strange sense of humor. Half the time he doesn't even recognize it.

Meanwhile, Thanatos will follow his twin's example and float in the semblance of a sitting pose. Is that more of his strange humor or just not wanting to exactly sit down? It's hard to say. ]

I did. There are two different types of jerky Brother Charon sells to Zagreus on his runs. They improve physical and magical strength for a short time. I'm not sure how much we have that could add to someone's power.

[ The Centaur Hearts help a little like that, defensively, but what is there offensively beside weapons, perhaps? ]

[ ...You know what, if Thanatos wants to sit like that, he can. You do you, Death Incarnate. Tidus will just adjust himself to be facing Thanatos, not minding about poor seating etiquette, or whatever some stuffy adult would call it. ]

Oh, that's handy! That's something we'll have to take around and offer people - it'll be good for the Reds and Purples. [ Better to do that than rely on people just taking it before a mission - would they, in a rush?

But Tidus is wondering about something else for a second. ]

You know if it's the meat or something added that does that? If we could make versions on the train... it might be easier to buy the ingredients than already cooked.

[ Thanatos already planned on carrying some with him to give others when things went bad. There's enough that he can do that. (Although, his bag is starting to get really full from all the things he brings for others to use. He may need to solve that problem in the near future.) ]

I don't know. I don't think my brother puts any kind of blessing on them. It's not speed related, so I hesitate to say that Hermes might have.

[ He considers it more. How does it get that power? ]

It might be some form of cooking that does it. The Exalted Shades in Elysium have access to goods such as this. I don't see a consistently replenishing those.

So, just the right cooking and ingredients. [ That makes sense. ... not whatever Exalted Shades are, but the rest. ]

We could see what happens if we ask the train for a mealkit for them? Or... you think we could get a book or scroll or something?

[ An Underworld cookbook? ]

We could do both and see what we get, then if it is spices and cooking, or just the meat - we can buy a bunch of them and store them for later.

[ Give something for the cook types to learn and do. ]

That is my guess, but cooking is not my domain.

[ Those toast sandwiches for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for month came from one god with a fondness for bread. He is not one to reverse engineer a recipe. ]

I don't know if such things exist, but I suppose we could try. Unless there is a god involved, there's not a lot of options for ingredients to try. At least, not from the surface.

Good thing it's everyone else's!

[ You know. With how many people really love to cook.

He's also not that concerned about options for ingredients, either. ] Train has a way of grabbing whatever we need. Well, alright - if you wanna tell me the food names and anything related to them- you said your brother handles them? - I'll try buying. See what comes in. I've got some points spare.

[ He doesn't know how many Thanatos has, but he doesn't mind offering up his own regardless. ]

Cyclopes Jerky and Chimaera Jerky are their names. And my brother Charon sells them to Zagreus through randomly placed wells. The shades in Elysium have their own means of obtaining them.

[ Don't question how that works. Even Thanatos isn't fully sure. ]

I spent most of my points on more healing items. I have 34 left.

You save that for yourself. [ You've been plenty, buddy. ] Alright! Oh yeah, I should...

[ Make a notebook materialise in his hand from hammerspace, the pen tucked in the pages. Thinks about writing those names himself, but...

Here! Holding out to Thanatos! ] It'll be easier if you write them down. Then I can't get the spelling wrong.

[ He takes the pen and writes down the names and what they do in very neat hand writing. Then he passes both paper and pen back to Tidus. ]

There.

[ Thanatos, notably, doesn't say anything about saving the points for himself. He doesn't have a need for them, so to the train or other people they go. ]

Thanks! [ There, way easier. He takes a read inside (look at that good-looking handwriting) before putting the notebook down. He'll get to ordering later on.

For now, he nods his head to some of the bits and bobs on the table; the plants, the potion bottles. ]

So, how much do you know about the stuff we have in the supplies? We have the tablet for reading up everything, but you sounded keen about a paper version. [ Was he really keen? Apparently, as Tidus remembers it. ]

It wouldn't be bad having both. [ ... as long as he doesn't need to keep anything updated! ] But, I know you play Red's support guy, so- you sure of everything?

[ (Tidus has figured out how to work the train system to get the goods.)

Not everyone knows what a tablet is and how to use it. Besides, what-if it loses power? That's something that can happen, right? Or someone steals it? Or just breaks it? At the very least a backup needs to be created. ]

I think I've learned more than I did before the last mission.

[ How are these beans not more widely known?! ]

And what I don't know, I'll learn as I copy the records.

[ Maybe because people don't pay attention!? LIKE YOU, THANATOS. ]

Well you're already here, [ and it was why Tidus called him here, ] so I'll tell you about the healing we have. So you can keep some on you.

[ So from his arms band, Tidus materialise a file, with an outer sheet and even colour coded tabs showing from the top. He opens it up to the HEALING section, sits it on the table for Thanatos, then pulls some of the bottles forward. ]

This is the elixirs one, as you know - you'll wanna grab some of these bottles from the luggage car to change them over. [ Why? Because the bottles Tidus is using are smaller than the ones that the elixirs came in. ]

You don't need the whole bottle they come in for the heal to work. They're not that big in Spira!

[ Elixirs, the healing they've had since they started getting in supplies and even Lightning was peddling. ]

And these - these are x-potions. [ A pink vial is moved forward. ] Doesn't make you feel as a hundred percent the elixirs, but any wounds or broken bones? That'll still do the job. You really want the elixirs for the real bad jobs - the life-threatening wounds.

[ And now, the white-red feathers and the stones! ]

But these are for when- [ He pauses, always a bit awkward about this, but- ] Well, when someone took a really bad blow. ...You think they won't make it. You put the feather on them, and it stabilises them - and the stones need to be brought next to the person too who needs them.

These are our best ones. [ He points to a red stone. ] Apparently, you just use them, and they'll bring a person back well and healed. This one- [ A pink one ] is next, and then this one - [ a peach ]

[ For a good chunk of his stay on the train, Thanatos has been overly focused on home or suffering an emotional or mental crisis of some kind. He's doing his best!

Although as good as this information is, Thanatos gets stuck on an important detail. ]

I have limited space in my bag, and fragile things are a risk to carry when your team is often fighting or actively moving.

[ He might have said something about how he's Death, so talking about death is common for him, but he's being very practical right now. ]

[ Hm. ] Who carries your team's arms band? Do you know about the pouch Wangji got for Red Team? The one that doesn't run out of space?

[ Did someone else carry both of those? ]

... Was this established before Lightning left?

[ It is 100% possible that all this got lost in the chaos following her disappearanceand then departure. It wasn't a smooth transition at all. ]

The arms band? Yeah - Toby, you...remember him? [ Was Thanatos around...? ] She used to have him be the supplies guy for Red Team. And then Wangji made an announcement about getting the bags not too long ago.

[ New, wonderful bags for the teams! ...one each! He flicks a finger against one of the bottles, letting it drop. ]

They're not that fragile anyway. But keeping some away in storage with extra food and stuff's always a good bet.

[[ ooc: Is Tidus talking about this message back in Llama? ]]

... I do not know who Toby is, and I do not know where either of those storage items are....

[ Thanatos frowns, frustrated and upset that despite doing all they can, apparently they missed some vital things they never knew existed. ]

[ OOC: Yes! ]

Hmm, maybe they're in the supplies? Lightning used to take care of them, [ so! ] -- and I think she left after Toby did.

[ Which he says with a shift in his voice, but small, returning to normal after. ]

And maybe Otoha has the bag, and forgot about it?

[ ...really, it's happened before with an arms band.... ]

I could ask.

[ Thanatos sighs. He doesn't know what message Tidus is talking about. Time is hard to keep track of on the train when one's been here for a while. Even Thanatos is experiencing that. ]

Although if it happened around Diagad, then I likely missed all mention of it.

Mmm, I don't know... time's kinda hard to keep track of.

[ Speaking of. But he waves a hand easily. ] But hey, no problem - now you know! If Otoha didn't get it, you can go to Wangji - the team lead one for Blue. And the arms band is probably in the locker if you guys aren't using it - they're for carrying around supplies anyway.

[ And if Thanatos is their go-to supplies guy, then he should be the one with one, or passing them onto someone. ]

All you wanna do is remember what you've got inside them, so keep a list! Long as you do, you can take it out!

[ And as Otoha's player as also confirmed not knowing about this, the Red Team managed to lose theirs. Red Team, never change in being the problem team. ]

That part will not be an issue with me. I think.

[ He has been writing notes in his ~~diary~~ parchmentwork ever since he got on the train. There is just... a lot to learn and easy to overlook in times of chaos. (And self-image breaking revelations.) ]
