There is now a clothes dryer in the laundry area.
For those unfamiliar, the low setting is for delicate clothing that would otherwise be harmed by high heat and friction; the medium setting should be appropriate for most train-assigned clothing; and the high setting should be reserved for sheets and towels only.
[There's a moment's pause, and then:]
Please do not attempt to ride in it; we would not want anyone to end up in medical.
[If he doesn't issue a warning, someone will try it. He just knows it.]

[Eight, you know PERFECTLY WELL WHO...]
...
Good idea.

Thank you.

What are the power requirements of the dryer? Would it be a drain on the train's resources?
no subject
That said, it is probably wise not to run it all day every day.
Voice - this tag is such a thing i can't find machine dryers when searching 'japanese clothes dryer'
Thank you- was it hard to fit, though? Dryers are very big. [Or at least, they seemed big? She'd only seen them at Chaldea- drying laundry in a dryer wasn't really a huge thing in Japan.]
We have fun here

[Oh, but-] Are they large enough to handle blankets and sheets easily?
[Those always seemed tricky to dry....]
Voice
[He's a good boy who helps with the chores, it's much appreciated.]
Did you buy it?

I will admit to some selfishness, as there are few things better than a hot towel after the spa.
no subject
Nah that's legit. Fresh outta the dryer just feels real nice, yeah? Like a warm blanket? That's the good stuff.

[Sometimes it's the little things, Siebren.]
Y'know, probably wouldn't hurt to put a sign on there about cleaning the lint out. Don't need it bursting into flames from that being so stuffed up.
voice;
[She had to check. But she at least remembers them from the last world.]
no subject
Yes. They generate heat and are meant for drying clothing quickly.

[Hey, she enjoys learning random stuff if she can. Wasn't like she could back home.]

I believe it is currently open, if you would like to treat yourself.

You've done a rare thing and actually talked me into doing laundry.
[Unless he can trick someone else into it. Which would be preferable? But he'll do laundry if he has to.]
Better also warn them that certain fabrics will shrink.

[He's smiling, though. He can appreciate Murphy's tastes here.]
That is why I gave instructions. Perhaps I ought to write them down.
no subject
...On the other hand, don't say anything. The entertainment could be worth it and I'm sure some wizard or another could magic them back to another size.

[He is absolutely messing with Murphy. That smirk is audible.]
Miss Spider may be able to, for a price, though I would prefer not to make more work for her unless necessary.
no subject
Ahhhh I dunno. She might end up in a mood for a sugar rush. That's a whole lotta spider she needs to feed.
Voice
[He's mostly being a little shit, but he can't deny he's thought about it.]

[Namely, you.]

[Rich, no you cannot.]
