Llama Day 20- Video
For those of you who were busy during Della's get to know you session, I'm Death. Not a god thereof, just... Death.
Apparently it's not always common but life also falls under my domain. And Entrapta tells me there are a surprising number of people with soul location issues.
I might be able to help, if you're willing to talk to me about it. I'll be in the rock garden if you want to talk about it.
[Feel free to action on over to the gardens to discuss the matter in a less public venue]

[She's a people personification.]

[He pauses.]
Though that's when they'd need you the most, so you being tired of it wouldn't be good, especially if they picked up on that.
[So yeah, stupid question.]

[Not at their best, but that's okay]
It took longer than it should have to realize what people need most then is a friendly face.

[He can admit it.]
You had to learn that.
[Which makes a lot of sense, and also makes him wonder how much else she and her siblings had to learn about their roles.
And then he's quiet for a moment.]
There are ghosts back home. Most humans can't see them, and spirits don't generally care for them, and they're often desperate for some kind of contact, to the point where they'll approach any human who might be able to see them. Problem being that the humans they approach are generally not remotely prepared for it, especially when their appearances... make it really obvious how they died.

[Technically she was still good at her job, in that everyone wound up where they needed to be. It was just less pleasant for all involved.]
That... could definitely be unsettling for the average mortal. Has it been going on long enough that anyone has started to be ready for it?

I honestly don't know. When I first started seeing them, there was nobody around I could tell. I started getting used to it eventually, but it took a long time.
[Granted, he'd been about five years old at the time, but still.]

[It was worth a shot]

[Ask him how he knows.]
But no, if there's a good way to send the ghosts to people used to them, or to send them on, I don't know about it. Then again, I wouldn't.

[It would be simpler, but simple doesn't always happen]

[And then there's a long pause, as something else occurs to him.]
Is time still moving, back home? Or do they just stick us back where they took us from when they decide to send us back?
[Assuming they're actually going back.]

[Ghosting about and not causing trouble is a form of peace, in the end]
That's a question for people who have been here longer than me. I'm so completely cut off from the rest of me that I can't tell.
