Apparently it's not always common but life also falls under my domain. And Entrapta tells me there are a surprising number of people with soul location issues.

I might be able to help, if you're willing to talk to me about it. I'll be in the rock garden if you want to talk about it.

Superheroes seem to make that one less common. But usually souls end up in the usual places throughout the process.

Heroes come in "super" now? How bad does that make their hubris?

Also super, but they mean well.

Which is also super, I presume.

[ It sounds like a nightmare. Heroes tend to literally fight Death (Incarnate) while he's just trying to do his job. Thus, he prefers them to stay away. ]

They don't do anything halfway.

[ Except maybe keeping their oaths, but if they did, Megaera would be out of a job. ]

That doesn't explain how so many of them have lived multiple lives. How much of a mess must their Underworlds be...

I do suspect they've installed a revolving door.

It's not as bad as the time Lucifer shut down Hell.

A fallen angel. Used to be the ruler of another afterlife, until he decided he wasn't going to do that any more.

Servants of a very particular deity who has managed to acquire a great deal of influence.

A servant ruled the afterlife and then stopped doing his job. Tsch, no wonder he caused a mess.

And then everyone was fighting over the real estate and no one thought about the fact that that Hell was empty.

The dead all escaped.

[ Oh... that is very bad not to mention a records nightmare after. ]

Lucifer would be locked up in Tartarus for eternity for causing that.

I shouldn't even be capable of getting a headache.

[AND YET]

He wound up with Hell in the first place for rebelling.

... He rebelled and was given a leadership role in the place he was sent to for punishment.

[ How does that make sense in any sort of managerial system? Just what? ]

No one said deities had to be logical.

[The administration of afterlives only becomes her circus if someone happens to set all their monkeys loose and remind her that technically all monkeys are hers]

I can't argue against that.

[ Just look at what his world is going through. If they were logical, maybe there wouldn't have been an eternal winter. ]

I think a lot of it's just time to develop all sorts of quirks. THose build up just as much as the experience.

Do you speak from experience?

[ She's not a god, according to her, but she knows gods... and maybe more like her. ]

It's probably for the best that my entire family doesn't. Mortals can only aspire to that level of family complication.

[Dysfunctional is the word many might use, but they're still her family]

It gets more complicated when mortals become part of the family.

[ He's thinking about how many children some of the gods on Olympus have. Never miss a moment to drag Zeus. ]

It really does.

There's not much of that in my family but... it's never ended well.

Not really in mine either. But other gods...

[ He shakes his head. ]

Anyways, I hope you're able to help them, the people you're asking about.
