For those of you who were busy during Della's get to know you session, I'm Death. Not a god thereof, just... Death.

Apparently it's not always common but life also falls under my domain. And Entrapta tells me there are a surprising number of people with soul location issues.

I might be able to help, if you're willing to talk to me about it. I'll be in the rock garden if you want to talk about it.

Ah, all right then.

{ She nervously fidgets, twisting a silver ring with a small embedded yellow stone on her finger. ]

I was...tricked into making a contract to gain magical power, I actually didn't know that I'd become a lich until recently. I use this power to protect everyone, but if I ever falter, there's a chance I'll lose control of it and hurt people. We have a plan to stop that if it happens, but it...obviously wouldn't be ideal.

I don't think anyone would want it to come to that.

[And then she thinks more about the first part]

My...leader, Kyubey. He found me while I was dying after a car accident, and he said he could grant me any wish, I'd just have to become a magical girl and do battle. I wished to stay alive. I...didn't, not quite, but it was all so seamless that I didn't know.

I've heard about some people having their abilities tied to an object with the soul.

And that's me. I have to be very careful, but my ability is in short supply on the train. We need more healers all the time...so I don't want to do anything to disrupt that.

It's all about weighing the risks.

A lot of people aren't thinking straight right after they die, so I don't think it's any better right before.

[She can't quite reproduce the feeling of not knowing it's coming though]

I guess that's true.

And they do...but I have a partner who helps restore my soul.

[ Cue the tiny green and white hedgehog running down her arm to say hello. ]

As long as she's with me and not too tired, everything's all right. I just need to pace myself whenever possible.
